    Either that or go mad.

I'm already there, despite my best efforts they are still floating around taunting me. I keep my best destroyer hand claps for in front on the computer screen as I do the internet in the dark and they are drawn to the light!

Family just keep tutting and shaking their heads.:(

I was pleasantly surprised at the results on the few nice days that we had last year
Blessed are the cracked for they are the ones that let in the light

I must try that if we get a summer this year. Did you place it somewhere or hang it?

  • Just hang them around the area you want to keep clear I just tie them at the top and hang them from string

Isn't that the same deterrent for cats?

A two litre drinks bottle laid on its side on the areas you don't want cats and it scares them off something to do with the way they see as well

I wondered what they were for. I've seen gardens with those in them. I wonder if they actually work? If so I could tell my neighbour because he has problems with cats coming in to use his nicely dug flower beds - I did tell him that they were probably very grateful :rotfl: He tried those black cats with green eyes which you can put on your lawn. He said they don't work. There are quite a lot of cats in the area (we have one too)
  • I didn't know that it works on cats too, great because I have two moggies visit my garden to use it as a toilet  which is not good in the veg plot

It's something to do with how the light reflects of the water in the bottle, confuses the cats somehow.

I remember hearing it years back and it's stuck with me

Ii have a dog - best cat deterrent ever. Cat does so love to wind him up though by sitting right along the fence so Alife can see him, but not touch

    Hilarious at times lol
