I did read recently that the Saudis and OPEC are attempting to get the price of crude down :T

I paid 16.9ppl in 1981 when I first used oil. It rose a bit to 19.8 in 1985 then steadily fell to 9.5, the lowest I ever paid, in 1998. Since then it's been marching upward.

Has anyone noticed a lowering of oil prices in line with falling crude and diesel prices? I'd be interested to hear what people are paying currently.

    Thanks.

Well I paid 55p back in may, price should have dropped again since then, boilerjuice says 52p at the moment, for my area. I would expect to be able to get lower than that with ringing around. Oil only seems more expensive as you have to pay for it all upfront. Its worth saving monthly so it doesn't hit so hard.

Looking on BJ the price really seems to be dropping recently.

My local supplier phoned with an offer of 51p/ltr +vat for a minimum of 1,000 litres. I'm not in a hurry to refill as I think the price has further to fall.

    I am on Worcs/Glos border

Just ordered 2000 ltrs from Evesons Worcs , 50.55p/ltr
    (1000 ltr price 50.7p.)
That was 3p/ltr cheaper than most other places
    http://www.evesons.co.uk/contact/
Next best was Oakleys Telford 51.45p/ltr for 2000ltrs
Next Pace Evesham 52.5p/ltr for 2000ltrs

All suppliers I rang said prices were rising.
    Maybe it's just me
