Liverpool to be bought by Boston Red Sox owners

He had them taken off him, he defaulted on Mill Finances loan. but that is shares in Kop holdings, not LFC (than god).
So the current board still are OK to proceed a sale.
I know you keep making the arguement that it will be kop holdings that go into admin, & theoretically that means there would be no points deduction.
IIRC that was southamptons arguement. They losy, & a precedent has been set.
Despite this, I can't see RBS trying to put you into admin, thus de-valuing the asset this close to a sale. It's getting harder & harder to keep the government in the manner to which they have become accustomed.0 -

I think that also, RBS wont want to test it out to much of a risk. Also they have no major worry about the legality of a sale now.0 -

Presumably there comes a point where a creditor has to apply for an administration order to push the sale through.
Liverpool FC is still the property of H&G and property rights must be protected in any society that wants to be free.0 -

Its being reported that they have been sold.
Either way if payment to RBS takes place Liverpool can end up anywhere. Not Again0 -

I would agree but they agreed to the board and it was the only way they got it refinanced last time.
In reality H&G don't have control of the direction of LFC through their own bad financial management.
It is society is free, it is just through greed they lost control of the board.
Remit of the last refinance was to sell and that is why the board is there. In reality they lost the rights when they lost control of the board.
Their losses / potential losses are from their own bad financial management.
They put themselves in this position no one else, and the bank have acted correctly to make sure they get their money back by having the casting board vote.
If they don't like it they should have not of agreed to the terms of refinance 6 months ago.0 -

That is a somewhat surreal thought isn't it? Imagine the chats you could have with the neighbours. "I was just popping round the M25 for a shopping trip to Bluewater you wouldn't believe what I came across today but bloody Liverpool" :rotfl:Please stay safe in the sun and learn the A-E of melanoma: A = asymmetry, B = irregular borders, C= different colours, D= diameter, larger than 6mm, E = evolving, is your mole changing? Hey, I can use this smiley!:footie:It's getting harder & harder to keep the government in the manner to which they have become accustomed.0 -
Just watching the news footage of those poor people getting rescued. Great to see the smiles back on their grubby little faces and faint glimmers of hope in their otherwise impoverished and mundane lives.
I still hope Everton beat them on Sunday though.
