Hicks & Gillett now threatening to challenge the takeover in the courts.
This following on from their trying to remove 2 board members earlier this week.

    Potentially a false dawn?

    Their actions are completely illogical!
It's getting harder & harder to keep the government in the manner to which they have become accustomed.

The team still got plenty of money pumped into it yet the fans still moan.

Maybe its just that the team is sh.it?

There's huge amounts being pumped in and out of the club, but if you're interested in reading thier annual audit reports from 2 years ago ( I think) a material doubt was placed on thier ability as a going concern.

The matter appears to be resolved but do not confuse money being pumped into it as always being beneficial.

    !!!!!! is all that about?

Why would fans not moan that the money they spend on seeing and supporting the team is getting wasted?
The club has spent & sold, so have all the other big clubs.

It's a great argument you are putting forward though......................... If you were 10 years old.

The point im making is Liverpool have spent loads of cash yet the fans blame a lack of money for a lack of success.

Are is this too hard for you to understand?

It was there yesterday. Not sure what they can do TBH?
But with no ability to refinance I would say they are blowing their own feet off.
They lose the club in about a week if they sell or not. TBH if I was going to buy I would wait until RBS were the owners and get it for even less.

I think it is you who is having a logical breakdown.

The money to buy the club was loaded on to the club putting it £270M+ in debt

Man U fans feel the same about there owners, if you need to spend £40M per year to service debt it is £40M+ you are not spending on the future of the business (investment)

The fans are moaning about the mess we are in, not about success. We want a stable club, one which is reflected on the field by the incomes it draws in.
We don't want a debt laden club, we wan to go back to being a debt free, properly run club.

Who do you support dior? I guess they wear red and your fans are protesting about the same thing. What happend to that Ronaldo cash?

Liverpool fans have done nothing but moan about "lack of investment" on players.

Benitez alone spent something like £200 million. Pity it was all on rubbish.

Nearly 20 million for Glen Johnson :rotfl:

    Man U Fan then.

If this goes through who are next in the spotlight and also having a very poor season by there standards (5 points off the lead & 5 points away from 14th)?

You concentrate on your own teams problems. Their day will come that is for sure.

    Could go through by Friday.:)

Best one I have heard yet.

    Great news for Liverpool fans.
They can keep their "Get the Yanks Out" Flags.
