What "fans" need to remember is that they have no say in the matter and that in fact, without them noticing, their status has changed from "fans" to customers....that is all they are and all they will ever be. They are just pawns in a corporate game.
Feudal Britain needs land reform. 70% of the land is "owned" by 1 % of the population and at least 50% is unregistered (inherited by landed gentry). Thats why your slave box costs so much..

New England Sports Ventures, biggest asset isn't the Red Sox, it's NESN (New England Sports Network)

NESN shows at least 150 of the Red Sox's 162 games each year, only the home games shown on National TV can't be shown, and as Fenway is sold out for every game they never have a blackout. Even the Yankees and their TV network YESN don't have that luxury. NESN also shows every Bruins game. (they can't show Patriots or Celtics games as they are part of the NFL/NBA TV rights package)

That's where the $$ comes from.

This ownership group are one of the top 2 or 3 in the U.S. and Liverpool couldn't wish to get better ownership.

Remember when football involved cheering (or jeering) the players on the pitch ? You may have known who the chairmain of your club was, and maybe even the owners, but it was the football you were interested in. Once in a while a club would change hands, and you`d hardly hear about it.

I bet I sound old. I suppose I`m getting that way.

No one said fans can force it through? It is not even certain the current board can force it through.

But fans/customers do have a say , they by stuff. So do not underestimate customers as without them a business is nothing.

Did H&G not lose a refinancing package 2 weak's ago because the loaning company saw how hated the owners were and how unstable the club was (on the back of fans protests)?

So although you may not like to believe it, they do have a say but it is not at a directer level, more 3rd party influence,

Really, the new owners have the US football team with a certain Stevie Nichol manager.

Could this pave the way for a return?
It's getting harder & harder to keep the government in the manner to which they have become accustomed.

Them were the days, I don't think they will though.

But a dare say new owners will want a new manager. Not that I agree with chopping and changing managers but RH cant be far off losing the dressing room already and with January not far away that could mean losing one if not all of or 3 star players.
If it is done to stop them leaving I perfectly understand. But I would be tempted to let torres go should £50M come our way. He is starting to go a bit Michale Owen. Great player but looks like all that speed is catching up with his muscles. If he lost his pace through constant injurys (like owen) I do not think he will be as deadly as he was in front of goal.

This is indeed one of our darkest moments. We will come through it, we will survive and LFC will never walk alone!

They do have gate receipts, sponsership deals, tv rights etc..;)

They were purchased for £171M I belive with £44M debt (£215M)
So cleared the debt then refinanced the club and loaded £270M of debt on it.
I cant see how anyone could thing what they have done for the club?

If they did not have the debt to service they would be able to spend more on a quality squad. No one could argue against that, Man U know that now.

The team still got plenty of money pumped into it yet the fans still moan.

Maybe its just that the team is sh.it?

Why would fans not moan that the money they spend on seeing and supporting the team is getting wasted?
The club has spent & sold, so have all the other big clubs.

It's a great argument you are putting forward though......................... If you were 10 years old.
