Nah, please see the Man U thread already discussed why it is ulikely (mainly cant see the court case going against the board and RBS are unlikely to force administration until the legal avenues are concluded)

If we dressed in gold and broke legs I would be panicking. :)

My other thought is on worse case, there is nothing to stop RBS negotiating a sale before putting cop holdings in to administration.
    Same day sale?
AFIK the administration rule is to stop clubs writing off massive debts (mainly to HMRC). Like West ham I think they may provide an exceptional circumstance should administration happen to LFC.
Because lets face it how long will the club be in RBS hands a few hours???
They wont devalue the club before arranging it's sale or they will lose money. So I really doubt they will put Kop Holdings in to administration until they have cleared a sale and the points up with the EPL.
I can't see it being good for the EPL either should they penalise the club if that is the only way to sell it.
It is a situation that has never happened AFIK, and is unlikely to again unless Man U did the same in the future.
I find it hard to blame the club on this one, it is more the EPL for letting such buyouts to go through.
Remember they were never going to place any debt on the club, (nose grows) bad owners. :(

other news, looks like providing the court case is OK it will be fine.http://www.marketingweek.co.uk/sectors/sport/news/premier-league-to-green-light-liverpool-takeover/3019124.article

It's getting harder & harder to keep the government in the manner to which they have become accustomed.

The other point would be we don't need a 9 point deduction. We have already done it ourselves.:D

You shouldn't, I wouldn't wish the misery on even United. Football fans should stand together against these sort of owners piling debt on.
