We had a lovely weekend. for the first time in months Mr P and I wet out together on Saturday night and on Sunday
There was a mini music festival held locally so we both went along. And then we had Sunday lunch out too. I can't express how relaxed and de-stressed I feel. Let us hope the good times continues.
We also received a boost of a grant to help with living costs from a charity. I am extremely grateful and feel quite touched by the kindness of others.business mortgage £0))''(+ Barclay's business kitchen loan £0=Total paid off was £96105 PPI claimed and received £13527

Couldn't have put it better myself..have just danced a little jog in your honour:)
Also..have to say pooh...that am a believer in, generally, what you put in you get out...you put a lot into the coffee morning, love as well as ingredients and your precious time. I know you didn't do it for reward..but the blessing of the grant could be connected. Any road up, you deserve it.

Thank you to all my lovely friends on here. You all make me smile
Yesterday was a busy day. Not a NSD but well spent.
First of all I looked after DGD in her own house in the morning then in the afternoon we went to collect a cot I won on 3bay. £5 for a space saving cot
After picking up the cot we went to 4ldi for our weekly shop. Mine came to £52.34. Still too high now there are just 3 adults in the house so I need to check I am not just 'feeding the freezers'.
It sounds so easy when I read it back but it wasn't. The cot was at a farm in the back of beyond, worse than where we live and the person gave us no directions. We had a post code which led us to the wrong place, of course. Eventually DGD needed her milk and had seen enough cows and sheep so we had to go to the nearest town where we could pick up a signal, send the seller a message on 3bay and hope they replied. It cost us two teas and a piece of rice crispie cake between us. The seller eventually got in touch and we then found the place easily. He said everyone has problems when he sells stuff on 3bay. I suggested he write his directions on word, copy onto his desktop and they are ready to add to every invoice. I am not sure he heard, he had a cot to take down, a toddler shouting etc. etc.
I still have to go back and manually fill in the 'n' when I write so it must be time to go and get my laptop repaired.business mortgage £0))''(+ Barclay's business kitchen loan £0=Total paid off was £96105 PPI claimed and received £13527

I have ordered a new keyboard as this one is very annoying. It is important that the website doesn't have mistakes.
All of a sudden we have had lots of bookings for the cottage so it is now booked up until mid September apart from this coming week. We did lots of odd jobs in there last week. Actually everyone else did odd jobs. I looked after DGD some of the time.
I am hoping to be able to pay DD for the cleaning and ironing she has done over the last year, upaid. And then to put some aside for the Winter so we don't end up in such a pickle again.
DSIL has taken two days leave later this month to try to help me get quotes on a heating system ad to source some free insulation. I really can't go through another Winter like the last one.
Today DH is workig as he is making the most of the good weather. He is working to pay off the garage bill so it is starting to go down which is a massive relief for me. The garage bill, the accountat and the tax are separate from the DMP so they will be paid off first. Then we can get back to paying off everything else.:)
We still dont have all the information ready for the accoutant. It should be done by the end of this week. Please remind me folks as I easily get side tracked.
Monday I am looking after DGD for the whole day but I have DS1 with me until he has to go to work at 4pm. Then I should be free for the rest of the week to concetrate on personal paperwork.business mortgage £0))''(+ Barclay's business kitchen loan £0=Total paid off was £96105 PPI claimed and received £13527

Today I am shattered after looking after DGD yesterday. But I had a lovely day and she cried when I left.
Today we are decluttering. I have packed Mr P off to the tip with loads of stuff that has been lying around. We have done a lot of recycling too.
I am going to have a look at the website for the cottage some time today but MUST get things together for the accountant. Really, I want to be outside.........
This morning I spoke to Payplan about our financail affairs and asked about our DMP. I was told we are not on a DMP as we don't have a great enough surplus income to pay our debts
We had our own home grown salad leaves today for lunch. It was heavenly, straight from the garden to the plateNow I need my tomatoes to produce something.
