I'm so glad you didn't remember you hadn't paid before you ate them as that may have spoilt the taste. :rotfl:

We had to drive to the bank to pay it in as he was paid in cash. That was a 24 mile roud trip. But we had a ice drive through the coutryside. had a wander aroud the shops i a differet tow ad didt sped aythig.

I have fixed the n button. A temporary fix for now.

Today won't be an NSD as I am going out tonight. It will cost me just £1 so not too bad. It is flower club which Mr P calls Fight club.

I looked after DGD for the morning today. My friend came to help and DGD was so excited she didn't have her usual nap. I am now absolutely shattered. I managed to get her asleep after lunc then Mr P arrived to collect me a bit early and she woke up. I think I have left a rater over tired baby with Mum.

On my search for heating grant help: I have now applied to the Health Through Warmth scheme (NPower).
I have also put our names down for solid wall insulation help with BGas. The scheme hasn't started yet so all I can do is wait, at least it is a tiny bit warmer today. I have made a spicy chicken pasta meal for tonight so it should warm everyone up a bit.:D

DS3 has heard he didn't get the job he really wanted so is a bit downhearted. :( He has had other interviews so we are hoping something will come up soon.
DS2 and DB haven't had any interviews so DS3 is doing well to get to interview. My family seems to go in cycles. All in education, all in work, all unemployed. We have been here before and got out of it so know we can again. In 2009/10 I had five men here without work.

I am searching out something smart to wear. I think I have sold all my good clothes.:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

Sounds like you had a good if not tiring day with DGD

Hope you had a nice night at fight/flower club

I can't believe this laptop. Now it it the 'h'!! The dog got very excited and leapt on it the other day.He did more damage than I originally thought. I have to bash really hard. And the 'n' key is no longer attached. Makes it much easier to manage :D

I own up completely for getting the dog excited so I am to blame for the damage.

Another NSD today. I ave lost count but know that I have lots more than usual which is good.

Fight club was good, very funny lady demonstrating so cheered me up a lot.

Today I have tackled a bit of the accounts. Not much else. Tomorrow I will be cooking some meals for DA to stock up her freezer when we go to see her on Friday.

I have felt really rough all day and have just found I forgot to take my meds this morning, despite being reminded to.

Did notice the h in earlier post but thought it may be slip of finger rather than broken h.

It reminds me of situation in work once. Area manager visited office and used colleagues computer. At the end of the day he left a message for her telling her that she had a problem with her n and m keys as they were typing for each other. What had actually happened was someone had swapped the keys over as a practical joke on her, not realising that boss was going to use the keyboard before her. We never told him but it made us all laugh thinking of him puzzling over what was wrong with his typing. He clearly wasn't a touch typist.

Glad you discovered why you were feeling rough, hopefully now you know you can sort yourself out.

I have no idea where my posts disappear to. Thanks for the post granny. I have more problems with the keyboard now. I have spoken to local IT guy and he says it is cheaper to replace the keyboard with a second hand one. I am using my phone ATM.

Yesterday we had a lovely day. We took DA out for lunch to an award winning fish and chip restaurant. DD,DA and I all had the pensioners special so lunch and drinks for four came to £16.50. Then DA paid for it all. :D

DD and I stocked up DAs freezer with small healthy meals we had cooked. We took 3 cottage pies, 3 bolognaise sauces, 1 lentil and bacon soup, 1 beef stew, 1 mince and vegetables. And DD took plum crumble and custard. They didn't cost much to make. The biggest expenze was the tubs to put the meals in but we will get them back so we can use them again. The beef stew was some I held back from Thursday's dinner here.

On our way home we went to M and S to spend the £30 voucher that DS's fiance gave me.
    I bought
    Small frying pan
    2 x cake tins
Loose bottomed cake tin - I have always wanted one :D
A dine in for two meal

After paying at checkout girl shouted to say I had a 25% off Chinese meals so I went back and bought 2 meals. I then had £2.30 left so DD and I had a much needed pot of tea each. DD paid the balance needed.

We went back to the car when DD said she would go back and try on a dress I had found on the sale rail.she tried it on and it was perfect. She bought it. £5 for a £45 dress. :)

So DD spent just under £6 yesterday and I spent nothing.

Last night DS1 phoned to say he and DS3 would eat out so Mr Pooh and I could eat our M and S meal. I cooked the Chinese and put the main and side dishes from other meal into the freezer for another time we are home alone :D

DS3 heard he has been accepted by a cruise co. He doesn't have a start date yet. He will continue applying for jobs in case something better comes along in the mean time.
