I have had a few problems recently. One of which is more lost posts.
    The gyst of it was:
Found Mr P's pick up has no MOT!!
Mr P spilt my early morning cup of tea and my phone stopped working:eek:
Laptop still doing odd things eg missing letters.:(
Mr P still has no work:(

    Good things:
    Electricity bill has been paid:j:j:j:j
Might have a booking on 3bay for cottage for this coming week :)
Mr P might have a day laying concrete tomorrow but may be needed to help DD get her car back from garage. The concreting can wait another day.

My phone is working again after a few days drying out gently:)

I am feeling quite upset after going to burial of a newborn. If I feel like this I cannot imagine how the parents and grandparents feel. The poor parents are so young, just early twenties. It makes me realise just how lucky we are.
The father of the baby told DD how lucky she is and she was very very upset because she was so close to being in the same situation as them.

    Sometimes life can be hard.

I have decided a bit of creativity is required here. I have been so taken over by finances that I haven't sewn anything in ages. I have been knitting mughugs and teacosies but feel the need to sew.

We really need a new peg bag as the previous one blew away. Probably somewhere in NE plmbl. If you find one it's mine.:rotfl::rotfl:

And my aunt needs a cushion made so she doesn't disappear into her armchair.I managed to get the fabric and foam on Freegle a while ago so have no excuse re costs.

I have ordered the spare parts required for Mr Pooh's pick up. They have cost £25.50 inc postage and DS3 will fit them so a saving there. :D

The cat and dog food I ordered arrived yesterday. I reckon on a saving of £20 a month on animal feed by buying online. I can't support local businesses with such a restricted budget. I feel a bit bad about it.:(

  • Lol yes if I find one I'll post it :p. I stopped leaving mine outside after losing one too many :rotfl:. Not that we need one today, yucky weather :(.

Don't feel bad about the local business. Your family need to come first at the minute and when you are back on your feet I'm sure you will go back to being a customer of theirs Xx

I usually bring mine in but sometimes forget then it is gone, forever.:rotfl::rotfl:I once found some pegs in a ditch on the main road. They were definitely mine!

I am learning that supporting local businesses is so much more expensive than buying online. Mr Pooh was complaining about having to find storage space for all the food. I must remember to tell him how much we are saving.

Must look at Amazon. I hadn't considered them for animal feed.

Brizzled. I will make you one. What style would you like? I will just be using leftover fabrics/scraps.

Today I am going out to a 'Tourism' seminar. It costs £10 but should help our business. I have managed to get a lift with a friend so saving on fuel costs. Lunch is included but I am going to take a healthy Packed lunch just in case.

No sewing today. I think that when I get home I will be too tired for sewing.

We have another last minute booking for our cottage so will definitely have enough to pay the business costs for May :)

Sorry Pooh, I have been a bit AWOL.

Great news on the cottage bookings and Mr Pooh getting paid :)

I think you should actually write a helpful guide to finding your way through the money maze and hidden money available. I'm sure there are many people out there not necessarily getting the help they need or are entitled too, although you always seem so busy I'm not sure you will actually have the time !

Hope the Seminar goes well today .

    Take Care x
