    Now I feel embarrassed Brizzled.

Yesterday I was very busy finding somewhere to stay for 16. I am organising a get together for Mr P's family.
I found a place in the Midlands and rang to pay the deposit expecting it to be £30 but it was £200!!! I have paid it but need everyone to pay their share asap. Then I found a house swap in Essex for DN's wedding :)

I sent off letters to CC companies yesterday asking if we can make reduced payments temporarily. Now I just have to wait...
business mortgage £0))''(+ Barclay's business kitchen loan £0=Total paid off was £96105 PPI claimed and received £13527

Today has been a lazy day after a really full on week. I have all DSs home now as DS3 is off to work in seas around Falkland Islands for 4 months :(

I am really going to miss him. He is my driver, lifter and carrier and general help. He puts up with my moaning and worrying too.

We have been trying to help him get ready to go away. Things like toiletries, extra underwear and new specs from Sp3csavers. I managed to get him a pair of sunglasses and a pair of distance specs for £69.I had to borrow to pay for him but will give it back very soon. Just wish he had signed on as unemployed as he would have had a free eye test.
I had an eye test and have gone from losing sight in my right eye to be back at 20/20 vision. This wierd condition, I have, never ceases to amaze me. Now I want to be pain free too. :)

I have had my first contact with a CC company asking why I haven't made minimum payment. I explained about Payplan help and they promised not to phone me again for 30 days. :) Let's hope they are all like this. It scares me. Makes me feel sick too. Luckily all this is separate from business finances.

The cottage is selling for half price on Fleabay but if it is enough to cover its costs I will be happy. We have changed our selling tactics and now offer weekend and mid week breaks during the Summer. Time will tell if this is a good move or not.

Mr P has had another few days work before the snow and ice yesterday. It is 2oC here today with a biting cold wind. What has happened to our warm weather?

I reckon that if Mr Pooh can pick up 3 days a week then it will cover his costs and maybe pay off his car repair bill a little at a time. It is still £1500. I have been trying to pay it off using our personal money when it should be paid from Mr P's business as it was a business vehicle.

We are still eking out the food we have in the freezer and as we have an extra mouth to feed are being extremely careful with spending.

I closed my ISA on Wednesday, took out all £25!

Then Mr P asked me for cash to buy fuel for work and he took the £20 :( He was paid by cheque on Monday and it hasn't cleared yet. I really must remember all this money we have lent to his business and take it back. We paid his car tax out of our personal account last month.

Too much wittering on here so I will stop.

The cottage went for £249.99, one bid in the last minute but I delighted it is let for the week. The people who left this morning had had a good clean and you would ever have known two toddlers and a dog had been there for a week :)

We had the chimney sweep do our chimney and the cottage this morning. I am ashamed to say our chimney was really dangerously tarred up. It was a chimney fire waiting to happen

So when money saving NEVER give chimney sweeping a miss. It is too dangerous. It cost £35 per chimney so not too bad. And it was done by another ex pupil :)

DD cleaned the cottage and I made tea and biscuits :) Then the next people arrived early which stopped us finding extra things to do and gave me a chance to enjoy the fantastic views. We ca see for miles today :D

This evening I decided to splash out and took my two sons for a pint and I had a £1 cup of tea in the pub while DS1 made cottage pie for us all.

I have heard from the c0op bank today. They are freezing interest on our personal loan and current account for 6 months. It gives us a breathing space until Mr Pooh's work picks up a bit more.

turfy6 I am determined to make sure that all business expenses are paid from the business account from now on.
