We woke up to find our big dog is limping this morning after his walk yesterday so DSs2 and 3 have gone out for another long walk with little dog. Poor old big dog howled. He has never been left without his friend. Mr P and I are going in the car to join them all later and to have a short stroll with DD, DSIL, DGD and of course take big dog.

I have found some dog anti inflammatory pain killer which is about 5 years out of date. Just debating on whether to give a bit to big dog.....

DS1 must be a bit better today as he has gone to work. He is going to struggle after eating nothing for 48hrs and his work is quite physical, he has a lot of lifting to do.

I am hoping today will be a NSD bringing my total for May to 4NSDs

We gave the anti inflammatory to the big dog snd he is fine today. Just getting old and stiff.

Today I have sat and input ISBN numbers for scores of our books and had the sum total of £1.60 offered. I think I will just take some to the boot sale and see what happens. I have a meeting the same day so plan to leave a son or two in charge while I am away. I hope they are good at haggling and don't give things away.

Mr P has been offered more work but has fiddled around here today. The rain did put him off a bit but he would never have worried much about it in the past.

I spent £2 on bananas today as we have no fruit left. Payday is 18th this month. Just ten days to go!! And I have £1.36 in my purse. Thie next week or so is going to be tight but we have plenty to eat in freezer and store cupboards.
We have wild garlic growing in the garden so we can have plenty of garlicky greens. I wrap fish in it and bake or steam, chop and add to tomato based sauces for pasta, steam and eat like spinach and lots more ideas.

I bought all the animal feed in bulk on line so they are all okay for a couple of months :D

Bread and milk is delivered weekly (we freeze it) and we pay fortnightly so okay there. There is enough meat, fish, pulses to last. We have plenty of frozen vegetables and both frozen and tinned fruit. No one will go hungry.
I even have cake making ingredients if anyone wants to make cake or scones for their packed lunches.

Funnily enough though I have been offered a lift to Mr A on Friday. Off to hunt for vouchers that give free goods.

Ransomes, wild garlic sound lush. We tried growing some down the allotment but they never took. If you have any spare I will buy them off you.

    Keep smiling x

Brizzled I will look up the best time to move them. I thought they had all died as we had none last year but they are doing well this year. The garlic I put in the allotment is sprouting too. No vampires around here.

I don't know if I wrote about the dishwasher and washing machine breaking down last week. Well I got the dishwasher going again and Mr P got the washer going. Then the dishwasher stopped and refused to do anything. I rang up whirpool and we have a 10 year guarantee. This really surprised me. As a result we have an engineer coming today. The washer was just choked up with builder's rubble from DS3.

Last night I found £1 voucher for clover which is £1 in Mr A. Just have to like it on Fb. I will see what else I can find today.

    Just a quick update.
I made £30 at the car boot sale on Saturday. I have already spent £1.50 on 3 sets of double ended knitting needles for sock knitting for Mr P to wear when working.
    £10 on petrol
£5 sub to DS1 for petrol
    £1.10 on a wedding card
    £1.50 on orange sticker bread
£2.50 on postage for fleabay item
AND £4.49 on a bottle of wine on Saturday as we were home alone :D

I have £9.50 in P4ypal from sale of a top at the weekend which I am holding in reserve. Payday tomorrow !!!!!

I didn't think we would manage on the little we had last week but we did.
