Happy Anniversary Pooh :). I've just googled whether 29th is a significant one, and apparently the gift should be 'new furniture'! Hmm, sounds a bit boring. I'd hold out for next year if I were you, which will be your pearl one, when Mr P should present you with pearls or diamonds! Mr Happy and I have just celebrated (or would have if we'd remembered!) our 22nd, the gift for which is copper - so the sole contents of my purse :rotfl:. How apt!

Have a lovely evening and I forbid you to disuss debt or money! x

Thank you Happy and Pinot, we had a lovely meal and had enough money to pay for petrol, have a couple of drinks each and we have bought a bottle of cava and a bag of M and Ms reduced in co-op to have while we watch TV together. It was lovely to be on our own, except dogs, for a change

It was lovely to do something with Mr Pooh where money wasn't mentioned once. Normally it feels as though it is all we ever talk about. And we had a lovely walk in a magical place at sunset. Sometimes the best things in life are free.

I applied to the Brit1sh G4s Green energy scheme. We are having an assessment today. I am really hoping that we will be accepted for the trial. I can't remember if I already wrote about it on here but it could be useful to anyone who lives in a rural area and doesn't have gas. They provide an air source heat pump, a heat store and othe materials. We would have to pay the labour costs. I will write a bit more later when I have more details of the scheme.
