Thank you. All are well. They have had a good experience this time. We all had lots of cuddles and DGD loves him. Though she was quite bossy and told her mum that SHE was going to change his nappy. :D She is 2 going on 12!

DSIL said it was easy :D. I had to point out it wasn't him giving birth :D. He is lovely and meant well. ☺

Mum and baby were home by yesterday evening so once we had everyone settled MrP DS2 and I had a meal in a local pub. I just wanted to come home to bed so it saved me cooking and it was a very special treat. £34.50 spent but DS2 said he will give me £10 today.

I woke up sneezing :) I have DGD's cold. We are off to the dentist today. It is 32 miles away but is an NHS dentist. There is one closer but he had to close for refurbishment and we needed a dentist in the meantime.

I have received my legacy from DA. If my cold will hold off enough to allow me to make some phone calls I will pay off Mr P' s credit card and then we are both debt free. All we will owe is the business loans and the mortgage.

Mr P is busy vacuuming downstairs and I am tucked up in the warm upstairs while he does dusty jobs. It helps keep my asthma in check.

I went a bit daft yesterday. On the way home from the dentist we called into MeT and in the sale I bought a little outfit for DGS and one for DGD too. £12 that wasn't budgeted for clothes but it doesn't happen very often. As DD said, I am the grandparent they will see more of and the other buys the toys and clothes as she lives so far away :)

Thank you lucky, beanie and granny.

Yay!!!! All personal debt cleared. Now all we have are business debts and our mortgage. Time to start chipping away a bit more at them.

Life in the Pooh household will remain very frugal. Mr P isn't working but we do have our employee pensions. If we do decide to have a holiday this year it might be a house swap again as both were very successful last year.

We have a wedding to go to in May so I am researching a few house swap organisations to see if I can find somewhere close enough. The lady whose house we stayed in for the last Essex wedding has longer term tenants in her house now so we can't stay there.

For me today was another NSD. I haven't been counting this month. Mr P and DS2 went out for a pint together so there's wasn't a NSD.

ETA both sons who live/work abroad want us to go and visit DS 3 will be back home from the Carribean in April and goes back to his ship in the Mediteranean in June. He wants us to go and stay on board. Then DS1 wants us to go and visit him in New York later this year. We do have a friend we can stay with in NY state. The lovely lady we stayed with when DS 1 was married. If I can find cheap flights I may go and visit. But they will have to be very cheap flights.
