Mr P hadn't been out since the weekend when we had the huge bill to pay. He has gone to the recycling centre today with the dog?!! The dog likes a trip out in the pickup.

Happy Anniversary!
Funnily enough, hubby and I quite like going to the recycling centre together, finding all the different locations for our rubbish, hurling them into the skips, the feeling of satisfaction at finally getting the unneeded stuff OUT of the house and properly dealt with.
I'm told that some centres, eg Leicester, have a little cafeteria on site with reasonably-priced tea/coffee.0 -

:snow_grin
It is snowing again!
Oh so much has happened since my last post.
DS2 went and got a Chinese meal which he paid for and he travelled a round trip of 48 miles to get it for us. We had starters and so had time to heat up the main courses. I had a vegetable stir fry with black bean sauce . It was lovely.
On Thursday I went with DD1 and DGD to see a play at Rheged. I wandered around the shops while they were in the theatre. I found a little top and crawler trousers for the new baby in red. Striped top and solid red trousers in the sale.
We set off home and Mr P said he would meet us in nearest village to save DD having to do round trip to our house. Saves her an extra 10 miles. When we arrived there was no sign of Mr P. Later he phoned to say the cash machine had swallowed his card and a sign said 'Please wait'. He waited half an hour. I went in and paid for the fuel he had put in the car. We went home and all was good. DS" happy too.
Yesterday morning Mr P tried to start the car and it sounded terrible. He later asked me to check the till receipt and he had put petrol in a diesel car :eek::eek: And I had driven the 5 miles back too.
Mr P cancelled his card to be on the safe side. There was money in the bank just a crazy machine.
Later yesterday DD rang me to say their guinea pig was ill. We decided he should be inside and given some food and water. She fed him water with a pippette.
Mr P decided to go out with his mate, no problem at all. The DS2 said he was going later.I said the words I really wished I hadn't said. I said 'Don't let your dad stay later with you'. He then decided he wasn't going and I was blaming him for his dad going out. I wasn't. I then explained about finances and why his dad couldn't stay out longer with which he cancelled the event he was going to next weekend and transferred all his money to our account:eek::eek::eek::eek::eek:
He took to his bed and now won't eat, drink, speak, move.
Later again DD rang to say DSIL had crashed the car on the way home. He got home at 1.20am! He has injured his thumb. Very swollen hand and thumb.
Today DD took the guinea pig to the vet and it has injured it's back somehow. It cost £22 so not too bad. He has had an anti inflammatory injection.
DSIL has driven himself to the hospital 22 miles away for an x ray because DS2 is in bed and our car is out of action. Not his best idea but can't do anything about it. DGD is in bed for her nap and DD is shattered so they stayed at home.
I feel as though I have completely set back DS2 and feel dreadful about it. Last night the more I tried to make him realise he had done nothing wrong the worse he got. So I am keeping out of his way as I am the cause of his grief at the moment.
All his money is back in his account. He has just enough to pay his car repair bill and for his night out next weekend.
I am hoping the fact he has to see doctor again this week will encourage him to get up by then.business mortgage £0))''(+ Barclay's business kitchen loan £0=Total paid off was £96105 PPI claimed and received £13527
