Beanie I have a friend who keeps asking me what she and I did in previous lives. I know it isn't the end of the world: it is just that we would like to have a run of a week or too with nothing happening.
DDIL is back in hospital with a kidney infection and in a lot of pain. Last surgery was on Thursday and she was home same day. Mr P and I have got DGD's cold.

P spent £12.20 in the pub and £20 on diesel today. We also paid £80 for a truck load of hard wood for the fire. We don't need it as the pellet boiler is great but Mr P likes to do a fire.
I came back to bed at 6 ish as I was feeling awful achey. It isn't flu as it built up over a few days.
DSIL has a bruised thumb. He had an xray.He has a splint to wear for a week or two. He will not be very useful during his paternity leave so we all have to hope it will be better soon.
I may be very wrong but I think that the men have not made a meal as I wasn't there. What has happened to the men who are perfectly capable of cooking?

Sorry to hear all your bad news Pooh. Hopefully it's all out of the way now and things will be on the up. The baby will give you a much-needed boost, no doubt about that xLBM Dec 2011. Aimed, but failed, to clear all unsecured debt by Feb 2019. Finally free of unsecured debt 21st May 21!

What a lovely way to spend the afternoon. My DM and DA knit and they both tried to teach me but I never had the patience or knack. I am glad you are doing something just for you. It is probably even more lovely as you will know you made it yourself.
