Thank you for all the good wishes for my back. It is still very painful so I have asked for a neck and back massage for my free treatment tomorrow.

Thinking positively :) It should start to ease soon and then I have £100 worth of chiropractor appointments to use up this year. Just have to have the cash to pay for a £50 appointment. I haven't been for over 6 months so need a longer appointment unless I manage to negotiate a price :) I will phone later and see how I get on.....

I have an Aqua credit card with a £300 credit limit, purely for emergencies. They have now decided to extend the credit to £1300 which I feel could lure me into debt again. Not sure what to do yet. I need to mull over it I think..

Approved foods order arrived today so we now have lots of loo rolls, kitchen rolls and tins of beans and tomatoes. I also bought noodles for DS2 and some crisps for the men. My best buy is a tin of tomato puree. Just a 800g tin this time. I freeze it in small tubs or beakers for later use. I reckon it saves me a lot of money doing it this way.

Mr P's pick up needs to be taxed but it is a hefty cost. We really need it in the winter to get in and out when it snows. And we use it to give lifts to customers.

ETA I have just taxed Mr P's pick-up on-line with a direct debit so we pay monthly now. It was £220 for the year! I think we will SORN it in the summer again when it isn't required.

Sorry to hear your back is still bad. Will have to dig out my slightly larger hold-all, instead of suitcase for you to travel in. Wouldn't want you damaging your back more by having to fold yourself up to fit ;)

I've got an Aqu^ card too, I use it for monthly spends and then pay it off in full each month. Because I know the interest rate is so high I never run up too much on it but it's handy to have access to emergency funds if needed. Especially whilst I'm travelling

    Hope you enjoy tomorrow x

Granny you will need an extra extra large case to get me in Great idea to have the 4qua card for travelling. I found Mr P out. He had used the card for his social life. He was very sorry and is going to stay in the whole of February. Self imposed naughty step

I have had my swim, steam room and massage. My shoulders were super tender and I hadn't even noticed.

My haggling with the chiro turned out to be unecessary as the receptionist had already fought my corner for me and I get my treatment at the regular price despite not having been for over 6 months.

  • [QUOTE=poohbear59;67616853 Pudding will be frozen banana (if my blender can manage to chop up frozen banana. We had some black bananas so I peeled and froze them. They were very good inside, not a mark on them.

I love eating frozen bananas - just like banana ice-cream and so much better for me. I freeze them whole and peel after removal from the freezer - I didn't realise you could freeze them peeled !

  • Hi Mrs P!

Sorry I haven't been around recently. I really hope you are feeling better and the snow isn't getting the better of everyone. It's lovely to hear that DS2 is out of bed and helping out. A little bit of work and plenty of excersize helps the body and the mind.

Please feel free to use the pocket idea. I stole it from the interwebs somewhere. I think it's a great idea and very simple to make (which is always necessary for me!!).

I hope the snow clears away soon and your muscles give you some peace.

    Take Care
