So pleased things are beginning to improve for DS Pooh, it must be such a weight off your mind that he is showing signs of improvement.
My DS is also beginning to improve slightly, have managed to persuade him to take his meds regularly and he is slowly beginning to rejoin the world.
Also grateful you have good friends and neighbours who are supporting you, yeah for carers group and enjoy your lovely treat xxxx

Thanks, I have to take it before 4th Feb so have to hope the roads stay open for me. And for DD when she comes to give birth. She is due beginning of March.

DDIL is having major surgery today so prayers etc needed for her. I woke up at 4am, just can's settle until I know it is all over.

DS1 had a telephone interview for a job in his own field. Sounds promising. As it is his first proper interview since he moved over to US if he doesn't get the job he has at least experienced an interview. They are taking up references via email today. It is in Albany NY which is where they plan to move near to when DDIL is over the surgery.


DS2 has been downstairs again Not until the afternoon but was playing on the xbox again. I never thought I would be so pleased one of my sons was playing on their xbox

I have a medical assessment for PIP tomorrow. feeling worried but know I have nothing to be worried about. Mr P is going to take me and also go into the assessment with me.

Now I feel like cleaning....... when a little bit stressed I tend to clean not eat....when very stressed cleaning goes right out of the window.....

Finances continue to be tight. We just had enough for some petrol (£12). Felt a bit daft going in and paying £12 but money came from selling an old coat on 3bay. I need to get motivated to list some more.

Mr P has injured his shoulder again shovelling snow. He just doesn't listen........ but it needed to be done so we could get out. it isn't too bad he just needs to rest and exercise it in equal measures.

DDIL is in my thoughts, hope you get some good news soon.

I'm on the waiting list for counselling through Carers but otherwise have had nothing from them.

plmbl I have had counselling immediately from the carers. But then DS2 has had to wait months for his psych appointment.

DS1 was pleased with his interview and they are taking up references.:)

DDIL is just out of surgery and seems to be doing okay.


And if I was a person who swears I would do so now as I have just checked current account and payment to OVO has been returned.:mad:

I forgot we make a payment on 22nd to Mr P's business account to pay his pickup insurance now that he is unable to work. He wanted to take it off the road but we could never have managed in the snow without it.

I have just reread my previous post and realise that the last sentence is missing.

Because I forgot about Mr P' s pickup insurance bein paid from our current account now it meant that the 0v0 electricity payment was returned unpaid Not major worries as we had two years ago but very annoying. Mr P isn't the slightest bit concerned.
