Skype is great. We can keep in touch and it doesn't cost us anything.
The starter was a mackerel rilette. Very tasty. DS 2 woke this morning with a fever and cold so he stayed in bed today.
DD phoned to ask if I had remembered to feed her guinea pigs. I had forgotten all about them so had a quick dash over to her house just as it was starting to snow.
Today we have had our neighbours in again for lunch and I think they are coming in tomorrow too. Then Sunday it is all hands on deck for a cottage changeover. We don't have DD to do the cleaning but we have friends who will help out. Just hoping the current guests leave it in good condition.
I received a Lakel4nd voucher and an 4mazon one too from our family so I have been perusing the sales but haven't bought anything yet.

We only managed so many NSD s because we had no available balance in the bank:had to wait for cheques to clear.
I am now in bed. I had to cancel having my neighbour in for lunch as I was suddenly full of aches and pains. I slept for almost 4 hours. Before I came back to bed I got my electric slicer out and sliced all the leftover meat ready for bagging up and freezing. I am so lucky to have good understanding neighbours. She came in with plates and made up two dinners from leftovers for herself and her son. I was very grateful as I hate to see anything wasted. DS 2 and I have had nothing to eat today.
My lovely neighbour also brought me some apple cider vinegar to drink with warm water and honey. It seems to have helped my sore throat.
Another NSD for me but Mr P has gone out for some paracetamol for me so not a NSD today. I usually get mine on prescription.
