Granny it was funny
Just the two men here aren't finding anything funny so it feels good to be able to share it. Thank you for the lovely picture.
As I write the dog has decided to give Mr P a cuddle. he is huge and when stretched out as tall as Mr P sitting down. It isn't true love just cupboard love. We haven't had money to buy dog food so are eking it out a bit. Dog is asking for food earlier each day. he is a little overweight so it is a good way to help him lose a bit.
Today DD and DSIL and DGD treated me to breakfast at their village 'big breakfast'. It was lovely to sit and chat to lovely people and have proper conversations about random things. My two depressed men don't have conversations at the moment. They will when they are feeling betterMr P is missing work now and is a bit tetchy.......:D
One good thing about it is that he is taking a more proactive interest in budgeting and suggested we save up for Orlando. This is a very good result and hasn't happened in 20 years. He has always been supportive of my budgeting but hasn't shown anyu interest.business mortgage £0))''(+ Barclay's business kitchen loan £0=Total paid off was £96105 PPI claimed and received £13527

Glad you had a nice breakfast and chat, it does us good sometimes.
I had to escape my moody man today too
Good that he's showing an interest in something :T
As for the dog, perhaps he'll eat OH and kill 2 problems in one :rotfl: sorry, couldn't resist xTargets

Granny, thank you do making me laugh. The dog hasn't found the fridge magnets yet but will if DGD continues putting them on the floor.
Mr P says he isn't grumpy or annoyed and the dog slinks away and hides under the table with just Mr P's tone of voice. He isn't like this all day long or the poor dog would be living under there
The men both cheered up later in the day. DS 2 got up at 3pm when I told him I needed help in the garden. He was grumpy but cut the lawn and set up a compost bin we got from the council a few months ago.
Then he found a job to apply for!He was chatty and quite positive. It is something he would love to do. Fingers crossed and prayers please that he gets it. It would change his life and allow him to do things that he loves.
I have just received a letter from Lloyds asking me to make a payment to clear my debt. I made a f and f parent in March. I have phoned and she just said file the letter and that she could see I had made the final payment that they accepted. It just caused a bit of panic and stress.
Another NSD yesterday. I must start counting them again. And another 3lb lost.business mortgage £0))''(+ Barclay's business kitchen loan £0=Total paid off was £96105 PPI claimed and received £13527

Last night I spent £3 at WI as there was a talk on breast awareness. I reckon it is money well spent.
Today I have made a claim for repayment of missold packaged bank account. I have no idea at all how I came to have it so have been honest in the letter. You never know.....I might get some back.
Yesterday I managed to reduce plumbing and drain cover by half to £24 per year and dog insurance reduced by £5 per month.
RHI claim has now been processed so we should receive a few hundred pounds in January.
Today I am looking for old bank accounts and am going to cash in my premium bonds of £140. I reckon it will be money well spent visiting DS 1 in USA.business mortgage £0))''(+ Barclay's business kitchen loan £0=Total paid off was £96105 PPI claimed and received £13527

I lost another post yesterday.
A quiet day with some disturbing news so I didn't really get my head round things.
I did manage to list 6 items on eBay but I was told I had 100 free. I used turberlister, as they uploaded I could see I had been charged 35p each. Very confusing.
Probably will load some more on today. I actually sold something yesterday for £10:j Every little helps. So £10 savings for Florida.
Today I have dome New forms to complete for ppi claims, going to search for cheaper appliance insurance, and maybe make some soups for the freezer.business mortgage £0))''(+ Barclay's business kitchen loan £0=Total paid off was £96105 PPI claimed and received £13527
