Mr P and DS2 are just ticking along nicely. Not happy but not as bad as a few weeks ago. We have had sunshine up here in the hills so maybe that has helped.
I have a huge SAD lamp ready for use. They said the didn't need it last year so I said it was for me:D I put it on when the were watching the morning news. The big dog loves it. He sits right in front of it. :rotfl:
Today's plans are to complete the new POO forms I received in the post and complete second packaged account form plus MUST remember the premium bonds. Better in my account than there's.
The PB were bought by my late mum when the kids were little. She wanted to buy them£10 each but £100 was minimum. So she bought £140 so kids got 10 each but in my name. It is time to cash them in.
Forgot to say the cottage seems to sell itself so no hard work needs to be done. We have just set it up as we would like a cottage to be if we were staying there. All the people, bar one or two, are lovely too so it makes it easy and pleasant for us.business mortgage £0))''(+ Barclay's business kitchen loan £0=Total paid off was £96105 PPI claimed and received £13527

Glad you are feeling a little better today Pooh. I am a great believer in that the sun really helps the mood. It certainly does in my case anyway. I have been thinking about investing in a SAD lamp for years, I am definately not at my best in the winter .
You got me thinking, we have some Premium Bonds that we bought for the girls when they were born, never won a bean on them . Its nice to know they are there just incase !

I always speak too soon.
Mr P good today but DS 2 not so good. In fact didn't get out of bed all day. I have plans for him tomorrow. We need to get DS3' s room ready for his return from sea on Friday. I can't wait. It is four months since he left. He has eight weeks leave. He will probably sleep for a week.
We need both sons to help clean the cottage on Saturday as DD is away for the weekend and Mr P can't clean with his injured shoulder. And I am pretty useless at most things too. I can supervise well though.business mortgage £0))''(+ Barclay's business kitchen loan £0=Total paid off was £96105 PPI claimed and received £13527

It is possible to pay to rent the lamp for a month or two. Then if you decide to keep it the rent is deducted from cost. And you don't pat VAT if it is a medical need, which Mr P' s certainly is.business mortgage £0))''(+ Barclay's business kitchen loan £0=Total paid off was £96105 PPI claimed and received £13527

:jToday DS2 comes home:j:j:j::j
We are collecting him from the airport at 9 pm and he has asked to go straight to the pub to see his friends. We will all go with him but we are unaccustomed to being out late at night. It makes us sound very old and boring.
He doesn't know yet that he will have to get up early to help clean the cottage
Mr P gets paid today but it is all needed to pay bills
I am happy though that we have enough to cover the bills. I am thankful that we can just about manage. Things have been a lot worse than this. The Cottage is earning enough to pay its own bills this winter.
Savings for Florida are just £10 but I have at least another £10 in ebay sales by Sunday. 2 things have bids on thembusiness mortgage £0))''(+ Barclay's business kitchen loan £0=Total paid off was £96105 PPI claimed and received £13527

Thank you Beanie, You always have something nice to say
It is great having DS3 back home. It is helping DS2 too. He drove us to the airport then to pub afterwards. And he was up early today to help clean the cottage. He did the floors. Luckily the people who left today were nice and clean, none of the mess we found last Saturday
DS3 has offered to take us out for dinner tonight. he says he only wants to go somewhere special
I spent £89 in Aldi yesterday and the cupboards are full at last. I know DS3 will buy the food shopping most of the time he is here so I thought i could afford to spend a bit more this week. I have £101 left in my grocery budget which also includes household consumables such as soap powder and kitchen and loo roll etc.
If Mr P spends it then it is gone and we will have to live as we did for two weeks: he couldn't go out as there was no cash left and we had lots of vegetarian meals which I am sure has done no one any harm
I feel rotten saying it but I have now got Mr P letting me have every till receipt so we know exactly how much we have left to live on. He always asks now if we can afford for him to buy tobacco etc... I do have some tobacco seeds but haven't tried growing it. I am not sure if it is legal, another reason for not trying to grow it yet.
We have some lovely cucumbers, tomatoes, spinach, curly kale, broad beans and potatoes which are growing in the garden or the allotment so we will not starveEverything seems to be ready to eat despite us starting late this year. The potatoes and broad beans were very late going in.
