Aldi is indeed amazing for a lot of things. They recently had my favourite Alta Rica coffee at over £1 off, so I bought 4. But it is also true that to take advantage of good offers you need spare money, and if you are living from week to week you just don't have that luxury.0

You have made a very good point elizabeth. I feel blessed that I have some spare money to be able to pick up some bargains. For about four years we haven't had the money to speNd on anything except the bare bone essentials for life. No treats. It still doesn't feel right to spetnd on anything exccept basics. I bought some brie and bacon for DSs while I am away so they can make tasty lunches. It felt hugely extravagant:)business mortgage £0))''(+ Barclay's business kitchen loan £0=Total paid off was £96105 PPI claimed and received £13527

After 4 years of doing without you definitely deserve the luxury of being able to buy non essential things.

Brizzled it is DS1 who is getting married.
We need lots of prayers as he hasn't received his visa yet. Time is getting very, very tight. You can probably imagine how stressed he is.
I have spent most days trying to find out what is going on for him, sourcing suits for the groomsmen etc.
Today was a NSD for me as DS1 paid for my shopping when I met him in the supermarket
I also received an agreement from LLoydstsb credit card for a full and final payment.:j:j:j:j:j:j:j
It has been a long haul. Just one to go now which is in Mr Pooh's name. He had to get a letter from the doctor to say he was not fit for work to send to Santander credit card. Our |GP is great. He wrote a letter today and has not charged usLovely man.
Once I find suits for groomsmen I have to then find somewhere for 16 people to stay in New York so if anyone has any ideas I would be grateful. It has to be suitable for a toddler too. And not expensive..
I am awaiting a cheque from DA's solicitor to reimburse me for the after funeral catering and now another £50 I had to pay to have rings valued for probate.
New windows go in tomorrow:D:D What with the new boiler and radiators our home is going to be super snug and cosy at last. I still can't quite believe the hot water always available when I turn on the tap.
The windows are costing £2070 for three windows (2 x bathroom and 1 kitchen) and French doors in the old barn door space with a semi circle of glass at the top.
It will make the room much lighter but I forgot we have a dog who will have his nose at the door constantly because the cats will sit outside and tantilise him. :rotfl::rotfl:business mortgage £0))''(+ Barclay's business kitchen loan £0=Total paid off was £96105 PPI claimed and received £13527
