Debt free in ten years-my new, more realistic challenge.

PG you made me smile and chuckle. How different our life is from the last few years. We are still having to be careful, we don't want to waste money.
I didn't have a NSD day yesterday or today.
I didn't have to pay for the window fitting yesterday as the glass which was specially made to fit the old arched barn door frame didn't fit at all. They have put plasterboard up but it has made my lovely cosy house draughty again:( Only temporarily
Today I have paid out a hefty £61 for an Avon order but I did order bras so I can try for size and some or all will be returned. I also bought a new teddy comforter for DGD to take with us on the plane in case she needs cheering up. I have hidden it away for now.
We need some luggage so if anyone comes across any bargains I would be very grateful to hear about them.business mortgage £0))''(+ Barclay's business kitchen loan £0=Total paid off was £96105 PPI claimed and received £13527

Hopefully soon.
I forgot to ask how long it would take for a replacement to be made.
It is just the hall that is draughty again but the new stove gives off heat to the room.

What a busy time we are having. Our internet has been quite intermittent and I think that is why the posts I tried to make via my phone didn't make it to here
Mr P is busy repointing our lovely stone interior wall.:) DS2 has helped with things too. It is really looking good.
My car broke down, went to dealer for repair, spent a week there and we had to travel 70 miles to collect it today to find it had the wrong transmission oil in it. Guess who last worked on the transmission?
I have, at last finished with orders for suits for the groomsmen. It was like getting blood out of a stone getting some of the young men to let me know their sizes
L1oydstsb CC has now been paid off:j:j:j I made our final payment on Tuesday. We still have a small ammount owing on 5antander CC in Mr P's name. They asked for the letter from the doctor so I have sent a copy to them. We just need to wait and see what they decide they want us to pay.
I booked an apartment in New York which sleeps 17 for lots of us to stay in for our two days there. It has worked out at £35 per person for the two nights. Which I think is very MSE
This is for the two nights after the wedding when we travel into the city to do a bit of sightseeing with the bride and grrom. Their first two nights as a married couple will be with 13ish friends and family. Both sets of parents, all their siblings and best friends will be together.
We are busy researching cheap/free things to do in New York and Toronto.
Somehow I managed to spend £78 in 4ldi today. Mr P spent about £80 on Monday but at least the house is well stocked at last. Still really appreciate being able to buy whatever food we want to, within reasonWe do need to be careful as we still have a little money left but we want to be able to use it when we are away.
