Hi, just wanted to say thanks to everyone who tried to help me.

I finally booked an apartment between lexington ave and 3rd ave on the upper east side.

Works out at £600 for the 5 nights although we have to give a $500 refundable deposit.

Just packing now! any last minute tips??

the $49 all around bus tours seem like good value and the $60 taxi fare from the airport into manhatten doesn't !!

have a great time - we go in two weeks so i hope to get some feedback from you when you return!!

Hey whizzkid, no that does not seem fair at all!

We will see about a different mode of transport but as we have saved money on our accommodation it doesnt seem too bad!

We wil definately do the bus tour and will give u feedback.

Had a totally fabulous time!

The accommodation was great it was on 91st a five min walk from central park.

i used a company called urban living and i would use them again they were fantastic.
