without sounding rude.. i know that, i was just wondering with the paramount/showfilmfirst as they use codes for the films sky doesnt.. so was wondering if people have been asked where they got the codes from

And without sounding rude, your post wasn't clear!

No they don't ask where you got the codes. Some screenings are from newspapers and magazines and state that you are required to bring along a page etc but not these screenings.

The majority of your post was in text speak which made it difficult to read.

May I suggest you don't use text speak and learn how to ask a question clearly if you want advice and help from those of us who have been doing this for years!

Well I went to see Machine Gun Preacher last night and I'm not really sure how I felt. It was almost like 2 hours of watching the really sad bits on Comic Relief, it was really really upsetting in parts. There were some really shocking parts (like Butler trying to do an American accent- didn't know Pennsylvannians sounded Scottish!!)

It has a really serious subject matter and is graphic, so don't go expecting a light hearted feel good film, don't want to say too much in case I spoil it for other people.

He wasn't a sympathetic character was he?
I too didn't know how I felt about the film but thought that had more to do with the annoying audience at Liverpool Showcase last night.

The rocking chairs didn't help matter as I found it distracting seeing people bobbing about in my eyeline, particularly the man directly in front of me! We had a few walk-outs but the most annoying people were an extremely large woman and a bespectacled man who sat along from my friends and I on the back row. They constantly talked throughout the whole film and she was either using her mobile phone or holding it so that the light was always glaring in my right eye! They took no notice of glares from people. If I had been closer I would have said something to them but if I had, it would have disturbed everyone else as I would have had to shout! Some people need to realise that they are in a cinema and not their own front rooms!

I may well go and see this again as I was far too distracted to appreciate this film fully.
