without wanting to sound mean... as someone who found all tickets gone for our screening gone at the crack of dawn but bought a paper anyway in the hope that some may cancel- i think they should ask to see voucher from paper, and think its more than fair. Also bulk bookers should need multiple papers. This is the reason i think some forge tickets - only wish i knew how (lol, joke)!!!

Just relying now on someone forgetting to buy the paper who will cancel their tickets. Although, what is the difference between me turning up with just the voucher from the paper and someone else who shows up only with the ticket??? If they can get in, surely we should too??? Especially if there are empy seats!!

I just rang the number for General Enquiries and pressed numbers as instructed, got an answer machine and rang the number offered for security control who I figured must be in the building and would know what was going on ;)

    Simples:D

i got a reply via facebook about the Batman Live 19th situation,it said "Gareth, it was a reduction issue for that date - if you havent been informed of change, you are good to go. enjoy!",so it seems that they over subscribed for that date so had to move a few people around to earlier shows

Hi guys. I'm new to getting these free preview tickets so I'm a little confused about some things. I'm on the mailing list for SeeFilmFirst so I get emails about some screenings (eg Horrible bosses) but I got a code from here for Mr Poppers Penguins, which apparently was advertised in a newspaper.

The email says "for some media promotions you are required to also take the page or voucher printed in the promotion". Is there any way to know which promotions these are, and where the vouchers were originally printed? How often do people get turned away at the cinema with these tickets? Where do you redeem your tickets? Do you still need to queue up to go to the desk?

    Thanks!!

Some of the codes are published in magazines heat etc others in newspapers usually with the newspaper ones people post in the cinema tickets no discussion thread on mse to give notice of when the codes will be coming up,i have been to loads of these previews sometimes they request the page from the magazine or newspaper with your ticket other times they don't bother so it's best not to leave it to chance. You should get there really early for the previews usually about 30-40 minutes before the screening time as they are over subscribed and it's a case of first come first served, when you get to the cinema just ask a member of staff which cinema the preview is in as the tickets you print out are the ones valid for the screening they don't get exchanged for others so you can skip the box office bit altogether as the screeenings are arranged by a private company.

Has anyone had any luck with the VIP service at SFF? Having paid for this I have not heard a thing, had no replies to my emails and now don't even appear to have SFF account! I cannot reverse my paypal payment either as it was paid over 45days ago. :-(

SFF frequently cancel accounts. All you need to do is re-register all the same details. It has nothing to do with your VIP account.
