Try https://www.spareroom.com for rooms in houses. At least you will be able to see what the market rate is like near work.0

Well, startby making a list of every single debt and also of all the goods he removed from the house and when the divorce settlement comes through, ask for him to pay a very high percentage of it.If you've have not made a mistake, you've made nothing0

sounds like you had a lucky escape. go to https://www.turn2us.gov.uk and check for benefits you may be entitled to.
Ring the council get your single person discount. Move back with yer mam...let her look after you for a while, pay your debts off.
You will be able to add your gas and electric debts to your DMP when you move out.

i managed to get tomorrow off work.. my manager was surprisingly understanding about it, so i will try and get some sleep (after the 2 hour journey home).
i will call my brother tomorrow and see if i can go to his office and get him to help me sort everything out, cos i am in no fit state to do it alone.
he is still ignoring me about the Laptop.. any advice on if i can claim for all of the things he has taken on my house insurance?0 -
To be honest you MAY be able to to manage on your own with the bills - do a proper SOA and find out what benefits you are entitled to - that's if you wanted to stay of course.
Gas and Electric say 50 arrears to go into dmp
TV - 50? but if you are only renting a tv you can get a cheapy one or look on freecycle or ebay or something. in which case this will be 0
Travel to work? how much is this?
Food? 150
Contents insurance? 20
Socialising? dunno?
Mobile - 20?
Council Tax = 97*10 = 970 * 75% /12 months = approx 60 a month (if you could pay over 12 months)
new SOA:
rent 425
council tax 97 65
gas 61
electricity 83 50
water 26
TV 13
Sky 21
Mobile 45 20
BAYV Tv 100 ( this is for 8 weeks but the day that they collect it means this month it has to be in early) 0
Bus Pass 80 0
total debt payments 135 0
house ins 34
Food 150
Travel 200
total 1120 = 1004 + debts + anything else I have forgotten so it is going to depend on what benefits you can get.
O.K so the debts may have to take a back seat for a while but hopefully you could cope.
