So sorry to hear what has happened to you. He sounds a right scumb*g and in time I'm sure you will realise you are better off without him! Re your SOA, just a couple of comments Council tas should reduce once you get the single persons allowance, both gas and electric seem high, can you get rid of BAYV TV? Debt payments are low on your list of priorities, write to each creditor offering token payments of £1.00 each this month, with a letter outlining your change in circumstances. If your tenency is up on 25th October, what are your plans after that? Is the household insurance to cover contents? If so would you be able to put in any sort of claim for theft? Ok hun, on your income you should be able to get some help with your rent - you need to contact the council as a priority, get all the forms you need and advise them that you are now living on your own so they will give you single occupancy discount on your council tax.
Your gas and electric seem quite high, worth checking comparison sites and see if you can save by switching.
Can you reduce your mobile bill or are you tied into a contract (even if you are it's always worth calling them, saying you're having financial problems and can they drop the package).
Sorry I'm not sure what BAYTV is but can you get rid of as is taking a big chunk of your wage now?
Also you put bus pass down but say earlier you can't get a bus to work - is this just general travel expenses?
House insurance is also pretty high since you only need contents, used to get buildings and contents for less then this so worth shopping round.
Looks like some cutbacks may be possible but would still put the debts to the bottom of the list and if all you can make to them is £1 payments for now then that's what they will have to accept - they should definately not be taking priority over things like food!!

No doubt you will have thought of these but just in case you haven't yet...
Could you reduce the gas / electric at all or is this paying off arrears?
Are your debt payments for the minimum that you can get away with?
You will be entitled to single person discount off the council tax now, though I'm not sure how fast that would go through.

That's all that I can think to add at the min.

gas and electricity are so high because there is an outstanding balance from previous property added on.

i have no idea what my plans are after 25th oct.. will need to stay one more month to serve notice, then im stuck.

writing to creditors is my next step.. have managed to get tomorrow off work so i will be able to sort all of these things out.

yes it is contents insurance, but i didnt think i would be able to make a claim due to there being no forced enrty, and be being uanble to prove laptop was mine any ideas on this?

BAYV TV cannot go, cos i will still have to pay for it, may aswell have the Tv if i have to pay for it..

Sky could go, but mobile is in contract for another 22 months

Inform the letting agency/landlord today and see if they will try to re-let it early.

rent 425 - is this your half or the whole lot? Do not pay it and advise the LL where he has gone /parents address etc, as he is wholly liable for this.
council tax 97 - get the single person's allowance and advise them now that you are moving out.

water 26 - ring them up and give them a leaving date - you will be ahead on payments at the moment

Hi Little Miss T, I'm so sorry to hear what you're going through. I can't add any advice to what you've already been told but just wanted to send love and hugs. You WILL get through this. I also agree you've had a lucky escape - I know your OH has done a lot of damage but you could have got in deeper and had children and a joint mortgage etc which would have been so much worse. Better to be rid of him now! I'll have my fingers crossed for you. Also, now is the time to lean on friends and family - once you have the practicalities sorted, the emotional side is bound to kick in so take all the support you can get.

i just text him amd said that if he can even just give me the laptop back to get a copy of my financial info off he can have it back, .. he didnt reply. if he is going to be funny over it, let him.. he needs to grow up really
