I thingk enough has been said. The visa process will take a while and that gives little_miss_T more time before the actual move. It's her decision and her life.

LMT - I've followed your thread for ages but the Australia thing made me want to pipe up because I moved to Australia a year ago and am loving it.

I wont give you the hard sell but if I can help I will.

The most important thing is, like DonnaP says, how you actually get in, i.e. your Visa.

Transferring money back and forth is expensive so you want to get your finances in as low-maintenance a state as possible. Post your SOA and let's review it.

Can you switch from tailor cigarettes to smoking roll your own tobacco? Would probably cut smoking bill by 50-75%
  • I cant roll them, and also I smoke more that way, so it's false economy really xx

OMG just read the whole thread.. Well done you, you've picked yourself up and coped amazingly with all that's been thrown at you. I wish you all the luck in the world for the future. I've got a few friends that have moved to Oz and they are loving their lives there.. Don't take the negatives to heart, I'm sure it's all been said with the best intentions but we know nothing about your relationship to comment on whether it will last or not, so maybe just stick to being supportive?!

Good luck to you Hun x
