I am just going to pick up on the word 'scared' is that about your financial situation or are you frightened of something else. It is such a difficult situation my heart goes out to you but I can't think of any better advice than people have already offered. I am wishing you the best of everything to finding solutions.

Just found yr thread and have read it all. I wanted to say how well you have handled all the things that have been thrown at you. I doubt that if I was in your situation I would have been able to cope. I hope everything works out for u in oz x

'scared'??hhhmmmm at the time i was terrified of everything.. money, being alone, the future, moving on, being without him.. now, i think most of the fear is gone.. i still have days when i wake up and just want this to have been a dream, but its not, and i think i have proven to myself that i am strong (dunno of i could cope with much more though)

if i was looking in on it from outside i would have said the same, its amazing how well we can cope when we have to.. dont want anymore crap though really think i have reached my limit.
i am so excited to start this new chapter.. my new man is amazing, he treats me like a total princess, and understands.. im not out of it yet, still have money worries, and i think this divorce is going to be difficult and costly, but i have an amazing support network here and at home i think i will be ok.

  • hi guys.. just need a little bit of help please..

i have decided that i want to move to australia next year, partly because of my new partner, but also i need to start again and put everything that has happened beind me.. but i need to get my life in order first.. i have debts all over the place, all of which i am paying off (i think) but i would rather just have one payment that can be managed every month whilst im there.. problem is i am having to save really hard to move.. any ideas?

    xx
Is moving to Australia a lot easier than it used to be? Don't you need points?
I've just read your whole thread and it seems incredible that you have gone through everything including you nearly dying, your mum and dad being in hospital. Perhaps its purely because I read the thread all in one go that talk of a move to Australia now seems even more incredible.
Going into a new relationship and immediately concentrating on getting a rock on your finger and moving to Australia sounds a bit like escapeism to me. Did things move as quickly with your husband? Shouldn't you be absolutely certain you are not making another mistake- and surely that involves taking time to find out?
