Gald he seems to have realised what really matters in life and isn't a total waste of space then
I'm sorry to hear about your mum - it's one thing after another for you at the moment isn't it - I trust she's in good hands at the hospital and hope that she makes a speedy recovery.
I'm glad you are sticking up for yourself at work as well- if you're ill you're ill and you've got proof of everything - fingers crossed work sort themselves out as well.
Best of Luck

hi guys..
i won my stage 2 appeal at work, hubby has moved away and agreed to a divorce after a long and bitter argument a few weeks ago, but i still doubt he will play ball. he has tried to frighten me financially by saying that he will make me pay half of his debt, but i know he can do that so he can just keep playing his silly games.
i have finally got my head out of the sand too and this morning i started dealing with my own financial situation in terms of debts etc, and im feeling very empowered. my life has changed so much over the last 7 months, but now im starting to see that life IS good after all. thank you all for our amazing support throughout this horrific time, dont think i would have coped without your encouragement.

Just read through the entire thread. Was shocked when saw what the hubby had done to you.
You are a stronger person now for it... and ignore all the evil things your husband says!
Glad things are starting to look up for you now. As they say - things can only get better.
Hope everything carries on looking up.... and enjoy Hawaii when ever that is!
Big Hugs xxxxx

wow. I have just read the whole thread and my Gawd you are one tough cookie! I am 22 and nowhere near as strong as you, but then some might say this is because I am a southerner!
I hope everything is plodding along well now and things are slowly slotting into place. Well done you for winning your case at work - I would have cowered away in the corner especially after all that's happened to you!
Lots of love

Hi,
I've just skim read most of your thread and wanted to say how much I admire your strength and perseverance. You deserve some good times and I hope you get some soon.
I also have a sneaky suspicion I happen to work for the same company as you based on what you have said and if so, am really glad you won your stage 2 appeal!
Take care.xx0 -
Hi
Well done on winning your appeal. And now that your husband has gone you can look forward to having a great life. Don't forget if you need help or advice you know where we all are.Find out who you are and do that on purpose (thanks to Owain Wyn Jones quoting Dolly Parton)0 -
hi guys..
im sure someone on here will be able to answer my question, as im pulling my hair out trying to find the answer.. i have a friend who has moved to Australia and i want to be able to keep in touch with him.. i have been using just-call Australia, thinking that the calls i made were 8p per minute, but i have found out that they are 14p per min with a connection charge of 12p per call.. i must make alot of calls to him because my phone bills for the last 5 months have averaged around £110 per month.. obviously this needs to stop.. so my question is, is there a way i can make cheap calls to an Australian mobile and cheap/free texts too? i dont mind paying like a monthly fee for so many minutes and texts, on like a sim only contract, but i just dont seem to be able to make sense of all of the information online.
i hope someone can help.
thanks xxxx0 -
