Hasnt happened with texts yet, but have made a few errors with email.

Like the one slating the web developer as an incompetent !!!!!!, after he told me it would take 12 weeks to build a 5 page website, after I had sorted all the copy,$ images, layout and fucntionality, and all he had to do was bolt it together, 1/2 day job at max. Silly prat decided to report me, with it being a govt dept the might of management descended on me, I advised that I would apologise for being rude, but my comments still stood, 12 weeks to do a half a days job was ridiculous and he was given the boot.

Recent one I sent to my boss by mistake just said something along the lines of 'Hi angel, I've looked at your car and xxx is wrong.... love you.'

Not too bad, my boss understood it was for the wrong person!

I did similar a few months back.

I was updating my Facebook ststus by mobile phone and I have 2 really bad habits of not reading what I post and relying on predictive text :(

Anyway I was meant to update with "why do certain people insist on adding me and then ignoring me after" but good old predictive text changed my update to "why do certain people insist on bedding me then ignoring me after". Within about 2 minutes I was inundated with text, calls and messages asking me if I was meant to post that - I was mortified and even now several months down the line I am constantly reminded of what I put.

As far as texts go I have sent and recieved messages that have gone to the wrong person - thankfully never anything too bad :)

The worst text faux pas I’ve heard of was from somebody who took ‘lol’ to mean ‘lots of love’ She heard that her friend’s mother had passed away, and didn’t want to call round and intrude, so decided to send a quick text which would be followed up with a call when she got home

“Hi xxxxx - sorry about your Mum lol”

My MIL thinks that is what LOL means, & we haven't corrected her. so we get a text regularly with a moan or gripe or even that someone we have never heard of has died which finishes with a lol . still wish I hadn't explained that !!!!!! is a rude word she is a really stickler for not swearing but kept calling people tw@ts lol

I'd just split up with my ex, and managed to send a txt to him that was meant for someone else I liked...

I pretended I'd done it to make him jealous :)
