you need to credit it to your account.
Log into your account, go to my account, look for replacements and credits. Click on credit, look for the invoice where the watch was ordered, and then find the watch. Click on reason code, it gives you the options above, enter the reason code for returning, item quantity 1. click on update, then continue, then the pink button, submit to avon.
You have now been credited the cost price for this item, ie your price, not the customer price. Make sure you return this item with the courier on your next delivery, otherwise you will be recharged for it.

if that is the case I shall be chasing the person who signed me up for them, as I only got the brochures!!

Looking for ideas which anybody has found successful for the period over Christmas.
My orders dropped last year in C1 & C2 as these were over the Christmas period. I am thinking of not putting an order in (or just ordering books & a demo product) for possibly C2, but has anybody used incentives in the past which they have found worked?

KittenClaws - possibly not the end of the world forgetting about the C17 sale brochure. Only sold 2 products from it...
Picked up a few new customers this campaign - some who'd been reading and not ordered yet, and some non-readers deciding to order. I had a fun afternoon re-organising my spreadsheet so all my current customers are on one page, and backorders on another. I've used the fill with colour tool to highlight each row/address in a different colour so I can see at a glance what their status is (customer, reader etc...) It's a bit much on the eyes, especially when I sort it by address so there's bright green, then red, then orange, then green again.
I got my nice re-canvassing postcards from Vista Print and have put them into use. They seem too nice to use on houses that didn't return their original book (AKA "the blacklist"). Only put them out yesterday but no luck yet.
I got a book back from a non-returner - from C14! They've got a C16 as well but that wasn't left out.
Hairdressers - I had a grand plan for hairdressers but so far I've only been able to put one in a staffroom. If I'd been allowed one out for customers I would have put an old (not too old) brochure in there with a note stuck to the front saying it's expired, but if you want one delivering to your home to pick up a business card from the counter and contact me. I'd have changed the brochure a few times a year and given the staff 10% off as a thank-you. I'd mention one for the staffroom first, then ask about the one for customers and give them some sort of incentive.
Only just started prospecting and sent notes to all my customers and stuck them in with brochures. No luck. Obviously I didn't want all of my customers to become reps otherwise I wouldn't hit £148 myself, but I'm surprised none have come forward. One is interested but not right now. It sounded like it would be a few months (I'm guessing retirement's the reason). I've only spoken to a couple of people but lack of time was the reason they couldn't do it. I stressed they don't have to be like me, schlepping around in the dark and all weathers. Expired brochures are all ready to go once I've got some vacant streets.I used to have my Avon turnover (sales) here. They've been removed because it's not appropriate to talk about those kinds of sales as if they're realistic for a new Rep to aim for.I signed up at the right time, right place, and was very lucky.

Sales after Christmas - this isn't my idea but someone on Connects said it worked for them in the past. They did a £1 gift voucher (no min spend). They said that quite a few people spent over £1, but at least with that you can get a shampoo or shower gel for free. You'll loose money on that order if they only spend the £1 gift voucher, but it'll help you get to MOV or HOV, help with PC sales. You might also convert people to a new shower gel or shampoo.
I'm going to do a flyer and have it facing out of the brochure bag, with up to 10 of the best deals in the brochure.I used to have my Avon turnover (sales) here. They've been removed because it's not appropriate to talk about those kinds of sales as if they're realistic for a new Rep to aim for.I signed up at the right time, right place, and was very lucky.

Hi folks - just popping in to say hello
I probably won't be on here as much these days as my knowledge will be out of date and therefore not as much use. The family will still be well represented though as my Daughter, EssexHebridean, is now doing Avon
I must say we all miss MardenCuckoo - I hope she'll be back soon as she is a mine of information :A'Better to ask a silly question than to make a silly mistake' Elliebee's Mum
