hmmm, my MIL wants to try the Anew Platinum, but all i see in HT are the sachet samples, not the small trial size pots. If anyone has some of the pots to sell or trade please let me know. it's funny, there seem to be miniature versions of all the age ranges EXCEPT platinum in HT :/
  • Is anyone giving christmas gifts to regular customers? I was thinking of putting in a cheap avon item (clearance etc) with a note saying something like ''Merry Christmas, thank you for your regular Avon orders''

Also, a few pages ago we were talking about putting leaflets in new territory to find out who was interested in a book, does anyone have an example of the leaflet they wouldn't mind sending me please? I think it would be a good idea just before christmas but can't afford to waste lots of books and don't have the time either!

    Thanks :)
  • can anyone help me out. I've put an avon book thru a neighbours door and stated what day I was going back to collect and whether it was going to be in the morning or afternoon- so in my case it was afternoon when I finished work. They didnt leave it out and didnt knock as could tell they were out as they work long hours! so thought would give them the benefit of the doubt, i left it 2 days til i put one of the calling cards through saying I would collect the book the following day and to leave outside incase they are not in.. well that was a week ago! any ideas on what to do?

Also do we have to return the magic cashmere foundation? I ordered one for myself and not tried it yet.

I was going to order that for myself and instead chose to order the new calming effects skin revival foundation. it says it reduces redness, but really not any more so than any other foundation, in my opinion. but it goes on smooth and stays nicely without drying. i do like it a lot and it will be my regular foundation from now on. so if you do find that your Magix foundation is runny and you must send it back, i think it is worth trying the Calming Effects, especially if you have any dry areas on your face.

well you may have to just accept that you've lost the book, and may or may not get it back someday. otherwise if you keep hassling them they might be put off and never order from you on principle.

I gave a present to all my regulars last year. I made the effort to wrap it in wrapping paper, and gave them all a card with seasons greetings on, so as not to offend anyone.

I got a few christmas cards too which was nice :) and yes the present wasn't anything expensive, just something nice from clearance. I also ran a Christmas prize draw. ie spend x amount, and you will be entered into a prize draw to win x item. The lady who won it, was very pleased, said she never wins anything.

I know from previous posts in the other threads, some people give more than one prize or have more than one highest spender ;) depending on orders.

yes, I would say you have lost the book. The only thing you could do is give them a backorder book that you don't mind losing, ie 2 days before your order is due to go in.

Either that or only canvass them every few months and see how you get on.
