  • I think others have mentioned in previous posts, if you have any old brochures that you can't use any more you could attach your letter/business card to one so that people can see an example of the products. Remember to state that it is an old brochure and cannot be ordered from, and if they want to see a current one to contact you :) If you don't have any, then maybe another rep close to you might, or your SL/ASM?

an excellent idea- I don't currently have any old brochures (recycled them :D ) but i think I will keep hold of these ones and try that when I recanvass.
  • PS can ayone give me some hints and tips on my Avon FB page...? it's looking a bit empty and sad... :o

rofl...I am complete opposite. I haven't been able to recycle any (I hate the thought of all that money going in the bin) so have every brochure since I started in Camp11!!! They are really cluttering up my house so I fully intend to use them in the next campaign for picking up new customers :) Shame you don't live nearer as I am pretty sure DH would pay you to take some away :rotfl:

    I am fuming!
My delivery didn't show up as expected yesterday! It normally comes at around 9.15am.

well craftyclare, I came home to a very polite and I mean this seriously, note from my courier saying that he could not spend 20mins trying to get one of my neighbours to be in to take my delivery. And that I need to make arrangements for someone to take in my delivery.

Fair enough, but like you I have to contact them and they will probably deliver Friday. Luckily I had told all my customers I will deliver Friday evening.

I don't know what to do. I kinda relied on one neighbour either side always being in to take delivery, now I know I can't. I don't own a car, so cannot ask the courier to deliver to a safe address, ie a friend, because I would have to lug everything home on the bus which would be very difficult, even decanted into bags. I couldn't ask them every month to deliver my order to me after the courier had delivered to them.

A friend offered to come to my house and wait for the courier, but I don't know if this is feasible every month. The only thing I suppose is to make friendly with some more neighbours on my street, and see if they will take in a delivery every month.

I wish we could ask the depot to deliver on another day. I don't work thur, fri, so would be at home to take delivery.

The only other thing is to regulary submit my order late, but can imagine the hell I would get for that!

Avon if you are reading, we need a way to ask the courier to be able to deliver on another day please!!!!!!

I'm requesting replacements for some items that were missing from my order. I've gone to "My orders" then "Replacements" in the drop-down menu. I've then put all the reason codes in (all 54s) and saved the missing products like I do when doing an order. I clicked on "next step" then clicked "immediate replacement". Doing that finalised my order and gave me a confirmation number.

Is that it? I've told people it will be about a week and they won't have to wait until the next delivery date.

that's it! Immediate replacements usually take about 5-7 days.

am a natural born hoarder... my house is so full of clutter that there is no room for anything Avon...:o I have started decluttering (with a little help from flylady :D) and make myself recycle those brochures... i have to do it slowly, a few brochures at a time, keeping just one, and eventually convincing myself I don't really need it... and in the recycling pile it goes...:T yes it's nuts I know, but if it works...?
  • OMG...just jumped out of bed and raced back to the PC as I realised I hadn't submitted my order tonight  Was due in by 10pm. I have been so organised with it this month and had it all input and checked last night but was waiting on one last order due today (which never did happen!!) and completely forgot to submit it :o I am sure I have read on here that it doesn't matter too much though. Hoping it still comes on the right day as I have just been through all the panic of getting MIL to be in at the right time and checking with the courier that they will defo deliver at the normal time. Ah well....out of my hands now. Nighty night all. Am off to bonny Scotland for a week now. Have a good week all. :D
