I know that someone posted (sorry can't remember who) an example of the wording they used to put in with the brochures stating who they were etc, but I can't find it.
Would someone be able to help me with this please.
I've only done F&F so far and am a bit scared now... (you wouldn't think that I was a grown woman!! :rotfl:)
This thread has been invaluable to me - so thank you to you all. :T

Woohoo! Just had my first brochure request through my Facebook page! Dead excited!
Still having no joy with territory but am going to do my street tomorrow as I know we dont get a book.
Just finished my newsletters which DH has printed for me so have to assemble all my books, leaflets etc tonight ready for tomorrow. Annnoyingly low on samples, do you usually put a sample in every bag when you do street drops etc? I have only done F&F so far and have put samples in them. Never sure what to put in either...
I have 2 more books to collect this evening before tomorrows order goes in - not expecting to get any from them so looking like £357.87 total for my 2nd campaign! Not bad eh?!0 -
I have started doing territory, this is my second campaign with that (fourth in all)- I lost more than half my books on the first go round and didn't have enough to canvass the rest of my territory for that campaign  (I then caught a nasty cold...). DH suggested a mail shot to my remaining roads... I did a short note, introducing myself, explaining that Avon wasn't just make up, and about the money back guarantee, and attached a (vistaprint) business card, asking them to contact me if they would like to see a brochure..... I have had two phone calls and an email asking for brochures :j two of those have ordered and I'm dropping the other one round in about five minutes... and i am getting all the books back!! just thought I'd share it...0

That is a blinking fantastic idea! Pat on the back for your DH! I might try that myself. I haven't been given any territory as of yet so could be handy to do what you've done rather than spending ages knocking at houses and being told they arent interested or already have a rep. I do a newsletter with my brochures, pointing out offers etc so could put my business card on one of those0 -
I'm requesting replacements for some items that were missing from my order. I've gone to "My orders" then "Replacements" in the drop-down menu. I've then put all the reason codes in (all 54s) and saved the missing products like I do when doing an order. I clicked on "next step" then clicked "immediate replacement". Doing that finalised my order and gave me a confirmation number.
Is that it? I've told people it will be about a week and they won't have to wait until the next delivery date.I used to have my Avon turnover (sales) here. They've been removed because it's not appropriate to talk about those kinds of sales as if they're realistic for a new Rep to aim for.I signed up at the right time, right place, and was very lucky.

I think others have mentioned in previous posts, if you have any old brochures that you can't use any more you could attach your letter/business card to one so that people can see an example of the products. Remember to state that it is an old brochure and cannot be ordered from, and if they want to see a current one to contact youIf you don't have any, then maybe another rep close to you might, or your SL/ASM?
Everyone loves a bargain :beer:0 -

I'm trying to find a nice big table cloth for my parties, something big enough to disguise boxes etc to display my products. Preferably hot pink, silver or black
All the ones on ebay seem to be pvc and I dont think that'd work! I need a cloth that will drape nice dont I. Any ideas?0 -

What about using a single flat sheet, you will have more choice of colours with these and should be a bit cheaper (Or a double/kingsize if you want it really big)Growing old is inevitable
Growing up is optional0 -
