Fair enough, but like you I have to contact them and they will probably deliver Friday. Luckily I had told all my customers I will deliver Friday evening.

I don't know what to do. I kinda relied on one neighbour either side always being in to take delivery, now I know I can't. I don't own a car, so cannot ask the courier to deliver to a safe address, ie a friend, because I would have to lug everything home on the bus which would be very difficult, even decanted into bags. I couldn't ask them every month to deliver my order to me after the courier had delivered to them.

A friend offered to come to my house and wait for the courier, but I don't know if this is feasible every month. The only thing I suppose is to make friendly with some more neighbours on my street, and see if they will take in a delivery every month.

I wish we could ask the depot to deliver on another day. I don't work thur, fri, so would be at home to take delivery.

The only other thing is to regulary submit my order late, but can imagine the hell I would get for that!

Avon if you are reading, we need a way to ask the courier to be able to deliver on another day please!!!!!!

It sounds like having a nice big rolling suitcase would be great for you. you can get them in pound-type shops for really cheap, and you can comfortably take them on the bus with loads inside. i sell jewellery at boot sales and this is what i do. it sounds like it would be a big pain, but truly the most annoying part is simply getting it on to the bus. if you can lift a bit of weight, then no problem. you can have it delivered to wherever you are, pack it up and roll it home.

having looked at the c17 brochure online.. i think that if any of us are planning to use old brochures to put through doors, i would not advise using the c16 ones to do this until after christmas. there are some really great prices in 16 and basically ALL of the products have gone back to full price in c17 (with the exception of lotus shield, some avon care products, and a couple anew products that i have noticed). so some potential customers might be very disappointed to see the c17 brochure if they have been browsing c16....

unless we can still order from c16 for a certain time period? my ASM says my c16 order is due Monday the 18th. I emailed her, left her 2 voicemails and have desperately been trying to contact her to find out when you can NO LONGER back order from c16, but she hasn't gotten back to me. my customers want to know. do you guys have any idea? thanks

Sorry to be such a pest! Another question i had for my ASM was, are the internet offers good for customers ordering through a rep? i.e. the 5 for £5 on selected bath and body, 2 for £10 on selected makeup, etc? thank you!!

You can use C16 one more time after Monday the 18th, when you submit your C17 order, this is called backordering. After that you cannot order from C16, except if you were going to put in an additional order. But you would not be able to backorder to C16 in C18. (unless you are a trendsetter).

Sorry not sure what you mean by internet offers. Do you mean on the Avon.co.uk Website, the Avon Shop, if the customers see the same offers as in the book?

Or do you mean the internet offers we get, on selected items?

If you mean the web and the book, they are the same offers.

And you might find a customer orders one of the products independently, another orders another one, and it might work out better for you to order the 5 for £5, and charge the customers the price they put on their order form, and the extra products you can keep and use as incentives or use for yourself.

One of my customers ordered 2 products from an offer, which was 3 for £5, her order came to £6. I have ordered an extra product for her and will only charge her the £5 and tell her she missed the offer, as she is a great customers and spends upto £30 most orders. So for the sake of £1 that I lose discount on, I get more respect from my customer! Now she knows I look out for her best interest.

i was really naughty (but really lucky) on my c15 because a lady ordered a planet spa whipped body cream which was £7 OR 2 FOR £4... I should have told her but i really needed to build up some stock lol! She only ordered one i suppose! If she does similar again i will make sure she benefits from it! As it was, i used the one i got for a free gift from my prize draw!

Had a few problems with my order this week - it was due to be delivered on Monday but my contract paperwork had not gone through in time before I placed my order and so there was a delay with delivery. I have looked online today and my order status is "Received with Carrier" - can anyone tell me does this mean my order should arrive today? Thanks everyone.

They did try deliver to my grandma but she didnt hear the door :mad:
So now back at the depot which is in manchester and im near leeds so not really convenient to collect it, they said it would be delivered tomorrow, no idea where to though!!

To be honest im considering giving up doing avon, dont seem to get any help or support from anybody!

I'm still waiting!!! I can order goods from France and they'd get here quicker!!! Avon has no sense of urgency (unless they want your money)! Neither my SL or ASM has replied to my emails and phone messages or shown any interest or concern regarding my situation!
I will pack in after the next book (as I already have C18s) as it's too much agro!!!:mad:
