with samples missmix, you need to order the shade the customer would like to try, it's difficult to have enough samples for each different type of customer, which is why blooming freezing's rep suggested ordering what she would like to try.

One of my friend's decided to try avon's foundation for the first time, she really likes nude smooth minerals foundation. She said everyone comments on how lovely her face looks and she likes the way it covers her skin. She has the type that has large pores and shows up heavily under the wrong foundation. With this one, you can barely tell she has large pores and her skin looks lovely.

This one has a lot of reviews on the avon website

Ideal Shade Cream to Power foundation

This is the one my friend uses

Hi Aureol, I was more thinking that when reps buy sample packs they may get a couple. I know I have a couple hanging around at the moment from the pack I bought. They are pretty much the only ones I have't used yet. Plan to use them next ready for C3!
Still looking for the plot...... Anyone seen it???

    Hi,
Sorry for popping in, but I'm finding the website a bit hard to navigate and I don't have an Avon person.

Do Avon do Planet Spa giftsets? My MIL has just discovered this, and loves the smell. I can see individual products on the site, but it'd be easier to buy a set, and I could have sworn there used to be more Planet Spa stuff then is showing?!

    Thanks :)

You've come to the right place! what campaign are you on atm? as in c18 there is buy 3 planet spa products for £6 and comes in a nice gold bag (i've ordered one for christmas!) even if you are on c1 you are still able to back order! if you dont have the brochure you can go onto the first page of this forum and there are link for the brochures x HTH x

Silver gift bags - I also got all big ones on C18 and then they clearly ran out and had to go for the small ones. I only had one customer in each campaign order a bag. I think because the bag offer wasn't a big banner on every eligible page people didn't notice even if they'd qualified. And then there were all the single orders I could combine for a bit of creative ordering. I did think of selling as a job lot on ebay :D
I used to have my Avon turnover (sales) here. They've been removed because it's not appropriate to talk about those kinds of sales as if they're realistic for a new Rep to aim for. :( I signed up at the right time, right place, and was very lucky.

    Hi Ladies

I am looking at trying a new foundation and am going to give Avon a go. Any advice gratefully received. I'm looking at either Ideal Shade or the Perfectwear but cannot decide.

I want a pretty good coverage (not too many imperfections) but not wanting to look orange or caked on. Luckily my rep is another mum at the school so I see her daily. She said I can order more than one shade and try before I buy but don't want to take the mickey and order too much. My last foundation was by Benefit and it was a pan stick (just like a big concealer stick really), I loved it and would go back but want a cheaper option.

I usually go for a natural beige type colour but am wondering how the Avon shades work, are they 'normal' or darker that I may be expecting? I'm sure I want a shade from the medium section.

    Thank you all.

I am an Avon customer and I have tried the Ideal Shade (cream to powder, and liquid types) Calming Effects and Anew (liquid and cream compact).

My shade is always natural beige. My fave is the Anew liquid foundation for great, even coverage and a fab moisturising effect. As a backup I keep the Anew compact for touch ups but although it gives a thicker coverage I think it shows up dry skin more than the liquid.

The Anew retails at £15 but sometimes they do offers £9 each or even 2 for £15. Once you know your shade then it is approx £8 delivered from ebay :)

yes, but with Avon there is a 90 day guarantee, if you are not happy with the product, you can return to the Rep or if bought directly from Avon for a full refund and there are no problems about it.

yes, the website is hard to navigate! Especially if you cannot understand how they group the products! I just had a look for you. The easiest way is to look at the e-brochure.

You are right there are only 2 pages of limited products in C1 for Planet Spa products.

You need to find a rep who can backorder for you on C18, as you cannot back order on the website.

If you go to Avon Connects at https://www.avon.uk.com/REPSuite/customerRegistration.page

and register, Avon will send your contact details to the Rep who lives nearest to you, you can then ask them for a C18 brochure to have a look at the Plant Spa sets.

Or you can drop me a PM with your postcode ;).

yes chelseylou, it has to be £20 or less, anything more than this, and your order gets held until it the outstanding amount drops to £20 or less.
