we have about 5cm here but its weird snow - its like polystyrene balls! needless to say despite it taking 40mins to make a 2 mile journey - i still made it into work. booooo. however, we have got our work xmas do tonight at ruthin castle and i have no idea if we're going to make it as there is more snow forecast for this afternoon. typical! got my medieval costume ready and everything! lol. :cool:DFBX2016 #160 - £3550/£8800

sounds very odd snow!! we are forecasted to have ours tonight/tomorrow! and last all weekend! im a big child when it comes to snow! I love it! but not the fact i have to try and get to work in it! looks like i will be having to use the 'proper car' to get out and about as mine will be goin nowhere!!
hope your christmas do goes ahead, sounds very different with the medieveal costumes!0 -
I'm at work but been mega busy for past 2 days so not been on.
{cue smug look}
I have done all my christmas shopping, and this year for the first time ever I have managed to post my christmas cards, second class, BEFORE the last posting date! I am usually posting them first class on the last posting date! Just got wrapping to do now but not much to do. We have also bought 80% of the Christmas dinner (which is now in the freezer - if there is someone up above, please let Iceland's cook-from-frozen joints be a roaring success!!!).
Out tonight delivering C1 - on a Friday for the first time ever, not sure now successful that will be as it is Christmas Party Season, but we'll see ... Only one "sorry won't be in" text so far.
Hope every one is well and surviving the sub zero temperatures again! Had to scrape the car windscreen again this morning and was not impressed. I was totally unprepared in peep toe shoes and my toes were almost dropping off by the time I'd finished!
Not much else happenning Avon wise - I have told all my customers that I'm running C2 and C3 together so I can have a bit of a break over Christmas. The ones I've had for a while agreed that it was about time and well deserved!
blimey i wish i was even half as organised as you!!DFBX2016 #160 - £3550/£8800

LOL thanks. because it is at a castle it is a medieval banquet. i am looking forward to it so will be a bit gutted if its called off.
science lesson - because the temp is so cold (-5C) the snow compacts into hard balls. if it was about 0 or 1C then we would have the lovely fluffy snowflakes that make that lovely noise when you step into a sheet of them. this stuff is just horrible and hard and flies around everywhere. lol. totally unrelated to avon today sorry.DFBX2016 #160 - £3550/£8800

hi everyone!
Just been out to pick up my C1 brochures, still got a few more to get though tomorrow with people not being in,
i've got 7 orders so far (including my family) so it comes to £121.15 (i dont know if thats a good amount for christmas, im guessing it is?)
hopefully i'll get a few more tomorrow though!
Just a quick question though, if i ordered one pack of small delivery bags and one pack of medium how many would i get? or am i best ordering more then one of each pack? x0 -

I dont tend to use the small bags, I find the medium and large bags best, and they are big enough to put the next brochure in too, I think you get 50 in a pack if I remember rightlyGrowing old is inevitable

have just gone and collect my first and last order from a customer this campaign hasnt gone that well, but guessing its cos of christmas being 8 days a way!! most of the stuff on order is for me, as have decided to get the other half, my bro and dad a few stocking fillers this year for christmas just to bunk up there presents!! and a few bits for my nan (who loves avon products!!) so hoping the weather doesnt get too bad between now and the 22nd!!!
time to go and get stuff prepared for this evening as having a well deserved girly christmas night in as didnt have a christmas party due to my job!! and to make sure the other half is ready for 7ish to go out!!!!
oh has anyone else ordered the pink party stuff for breast cancer? i recieved mine yesterday! its actually quite good (or i think it is!!) everything you need for a pink avon party! has balloons, a box for collecting money for the charity, if anyone is interested I can send or even post up the site etc! x0
