grrrr, have a new ASM and think she has put an order through (a small order) on my account as didn't place an order this campaign! This means I had 6 missed calls from Avon on Friday and a letter on Saturday telling me I had an outstanding balance on my account, that had to be paid before the order could be despatched.

I didn't put an order on as had to do my returns, and needed to check what was being returned and what I needed to pay for, so was waiting to see what was credited and what I needed to pay from the outstanding balance.

Grrrr. This has messed me up now. so have told Avon I didn't place a small order, and I KNOW I DIDN'T! I used DH's account for the orders I placed. And I what to know what has been ordered and at what time.

Wish people would not interfere like this! Apart from that it is against the rules!

This has happened to three of my team members too! (Your upliner can tell who actually placed the order.) Really T's me off that some ASM's cause all this hassle and, as lozza says, it's actually fraud being that someone else is putting you into debt without either your knowledge or permission. One of my reps found they'd placed an order two months after they'd actually resigned and asked for their account to be closed! Another found the ASM had ordered a perfume MoneyMaker - how stupid is that?:mad::mad:

No idea what's happened re. my complaints - but hopefully something has even though I've not heard anything back other than an acknowledgement to the effect that 'the Manager would be in touch with the rep to sort'..... Fat chance!

Me and my friends always write Carp, even by text to each other...lol think it is in case kids can read! and the other is sipped off!

It has been over a week and am still not better! :(

Yes, you can apply for credits and not pay for those items, just the ones you have sold to your customers or kept for yourself.

Avon will always send you your order unless you have an outstanding balance of over £20, even if you don't make nay money on it.

thank you for the info! will it come up on how much I then have to pay avon? sorry for all the questions never had to do returns before so am new to all this. im gonna see how my fb sale goes today and then sort out all the returns tomorrow!

I used to know not sure if I still have the details. Have e-mailed Avon asking what the small order is and when it was placed as I definitely did not place it!

I did wonder why I had 6 missed calls on Friday but being so ill, it never registered that the guy kept saying the order I had placed was being held, as I was thinking it was one I had placed by mistake previously and could not give a damn about it being sent out, as it would be returned anyway as I didn't want it.

She's a new ASM who has just been taken on.

And if she's putting in small orders, here, there and everywhere...then...well you can work it out yourself.

My opinion is what she is doing is illegal and definitely fraud at the very least.

    How dishonest :mad::mad:

Not only that, but it's brought your account into disrepute too :(

Not sure if the police would investigate (they should as it's a criminal offence) if you don't get it sorted out by Avon.

Keep us posted on what happens.

It probably won't show until tomorrow or Tuesday how much you actually owe Avon, as the accounts department have to process your credits.

the best thing to do, when you put your credits through, you get a notification at the end saying this is how much you have put through and how much you owe Avon, write these figures down before you press ok and then just pay the one that says what you owe Avon. The rest will sort itself out.

I'm not bothered about my account being brought into disrepute...lol

just the fact they have done it meant I was hassled for no reason, in things I could have dealt with avon directly once I was sorted out.

I will do as Lozza says, copy in my DSM to the ASM and my SL (not sure the point of that as have not heard from her for a few months now) and leave it at that.

Avon tend not to do much, but DSM do, and this ASM being new.... wonder who taught her that little trick.....

It's so annoying and frustrating. I know you are supposed to tell your upliners or ASM that you aren't putting an order in for whatever reason but they will tell you, you have to, so that it keeps your account open and they get their monthly target.

But while you are trying to sort yourself out, they are not helping by doing this!

Last time we found orders going through a Rep's account, turned out her ex flatmate was using her account! That was a pickle to sort out!

OK.... anyone ever had their Avon delivered on a SUNDAY before now???? Got home after seeing Santa (Little Miss was NOT impressed...) and there were 2 boxes and my next lot of books sat on my doorstep! Now I don't know if I should be chuffed or miffed to be honest - I'm somewhat annoyed as I had returns and obviously they didn't get picked up like they should have been as I wasn't expecting him and I'd arranged to be in tomorrow to make sure they got collected - but obviously it means I can go through my orders and bag them up a day early... Just really annoyed about my return (well exchange...) grrrrrr

  • Has anyone tried any of the matt nail varnishes? I'm very disappointed, only put it on a couple of days ago and there's hardly any left on my nails.

I bought three different colours as well, can we return used demo stuff?

Matte Nail Polish - I won some of these and noticed they chipped within a couple of days. A matte top coat is needed otherwise they really need a proper top coat - but that would ruin the matte effect. You can return them, though, even if they were demos. Useful in general if you're doing a party or something and need stuff to show off.

Early delivery - I've had an early delivery (although not on a Sunday). Got some things ordered from Tesco two weeks ago today, so their courier must have been doing overtime to catch up. In my case, the couriers had decided to deliver early rather than Avon. Luckily I was in but, like you say, if you've got returns to do you're b******d. You could try ringing the courier company to find out when they're back in the area (on non-Avon stuff) to see if they'll pick up your return.

Returns - so I've put my immediate replacement in today. Might have some more credits to do in a week or so. They can both go in the same box with one barcode sticker? Thanks for your answers so far, just want to be sure :o
I used to have my Avon turnover (sales) here. They've been removed because it's not appropriate to talk about those kinds of sales as if they're realistic for a new Rep to aim for. :( I signed up at the right time, right place, and was very lucky.

I've got a demo one (Inky Blue) and found the same problem as everyone else - it flakes off in sheets.

Other problem with it is try getting the rest of it off with nail varnish remover. You really have to scrub at it. When I finally got mine off, I found my nails were dyed a fetching shade of blue (not). Can't use a base coat with it either.

I could not, in all honesty, recommend this product to my customers.

Ring up your couriers and request they come and collect your returns asap - I had to this when my delivery was left at random by my back door, rather than in the shed (where my returns where) - don't ask avon, they'll be no use, just ring your courier direct.
Avon Lady since 2009 - I help on the Avon hints & tips thread to help other reps/new sales leaders as I was helped so much by it when I first started out :A
