I emailed my ASM and left a message on voicemail but no reply, managed to get the slippers of ebay in the end which means I have made no commission but one very happy customer, as for the other items a few are on there way but still waiting to hear about the pearl vine gift set (think I have that correct), got a few items missing as well which I need to put on the system today (very busy weekend so didnt have time).0 -
For all those new reps on here and havent seen the leaflet you are able to get a rep bag with over 50 samples included. you can order this by using the product number 69401 this will be split over 2 campaigns and only avaible to order in your first 2 campaigns0

Too late for meI think it is poor that new reps don't get information like this explained properly when they are signed up
Well done for posting it Chelsey, maybe it could be transported to page 1 of this thread with all the useful info? In fact they should bring one when they sign you up, and offer it to you then so you can use it for your first campaign.
I ordered samples, and I consider them successful as someone has ordered as a result of trying it and she said she wouldn't have thought of it otherwise. And, I have found the perfect hair product for meLotus shield is amazing! Through creative ordering, I will get 2 free ones this delivery too
Still looking for the plot...... Anyone seen it???0 -

too late for me too! only found it the other day when I was sorted through all the paperwork to put it all together in a box! but yes you are right information doesnt get explained very well in the beginning, i think some of the times depends who signs you up rushes! I would be lost without this forum as everyone is so friendly and willing to help out and get an answer the same day where as my SL takes days to reply!
I thought would share as some may not get the leaflet or be told about it. x0 -
Unfortunately as only new reps can order the bags it's not like we can take them out, I've still got my bag somewhere but when I started it was products you got free product rather than samples. Unless you need a bag, I always tell my reps you're better investing the £20 sample pack or just picking some samples to order, as the bag can't fit loads of brochures so I don't personally think it's worth the money.Avon Lady since 2009 - I help on the Avon hints & tips thread to help other reps/new sales leaders as I was helped so much by it when I first started out :A0

Hi
I am a newly signed rep on my 2nd campaign & am having a mare with streets - i was given quite a few streets initially & i delivered to every house only to find upon collection of books half the area is covered by a rep who has had the same area for 20yrs and the other half covered by another rep of about 8yrs hence to say my time was completely wasted as not 1 order - i complained about this (was quite upset by it) and got given new streets only to find the same thing again now these houses have been a lot harder to deliver to up country lanes etc.. so i am now proper fed!! I really dont mind doing the leg work etc but it would be nice to have half a chance at some orders - do i comlain again or just try and find my own streets
thanks stephx0 -

Hi Steph,
Do complain again because it's the only way they will get this sorted. They should be doing more to help you. When you do new streets, maybe knock a few doors and just ask. Many reps here put a slip in to introduce themselves and have a tick box so they can let you know if they already have a rep.
Do you have children? Taking the books on the school run can be a good start. Also any Coffee Mornings, local WI anything like that introduce yourself, get talking and they are bound to ask what you do.
I was really disheartened when I started as we are in a rural location, and the local school - who had booked me to do an Avon table at the Xmas Fair - started doing Avon as a school and saying the money went to the school etc. However after encouragement from here, I am building up a regular customer base and expanding gradually all the time. Give it time and hopefully you will begin to see it work for you.Still looking for the plot...... Anyone seen it???0
