Unfortunately as only new reps can order the bags it's not like we can take them out, I've still got my bag somewhere but when I started it was products you got free product rather than samples. Unless you need a bag, I always tell my reps you're better investing the £20 sample pack or just picking some samples to order, as the bag can't fit loads of brochures so I don't personally think it's worth the money.

Ah but that's the thing - you DO give your reps help and advice. We need more people like you :D
Still looking for the plot...... Anyone seen it???

    Hi

I am a newly signed rep on my 2nd campaign & am having a mare with streets - i was given quite a few streets initially & i delivered to every house only to find upon collection of books half the area is covered by a rep who has had the same area for 20yrs and the other half covered by another rep of about 8yrs hence to say my time was completely wasted as not 1 order - i complained about this (was quite upset by it) and got given new streets only to find the same thing again now these houses have been a lot harder to deliver to up country lanes etc.. so i am now proper fed!! I really dont mind doing the leg work etc but it would be nice to have half a chance at some orders - do i comlain again or just try and find my own streets
    thanks stephx

I would complain, that way it can get sorted out and then you wont be back at square one again etc! im quite lucky as the estate i live in there is only 1 other rep so we have half!

as missminx has said that some of us on here use the tick box idea introducing ourselves and when we will be back to collect the books and find that they work as it then saves you time as you know not to go back to them if they said they dont want a book and then just recanvas every 5-6 months as curricumstances change e.g. people might move etc x

Lol thanks - I give them the leaflet, but always say only order if you want the bag as otherwise its not worth it - and tell them not to spend out on samples to start with as they'll get sent some for free anyway - too many people will spend a lot on samples/themselves and then think avons not worth it, as they've made no money :p I try and put them off that for their first campaign lol so they can see they can make money buy only getting them to order the minimum - medium or large paper bags, and obviously brochures, calling cards if they have a territory, enough to get them going and see they can make a profit, then they can invest when they realise themselves they need to. Obviously some people are fab and realise they need to invest from the word go - but not everyone realises that spending money on samples/freebies with bring back more than you've spent, they just see that they've not instantly made a fortune!

  • Thanks Lozza

Well it was well worth it. Collected my road (got to go back tomo for a couple of stragglers who are def ordering) and my cousin has been round so grand total at the mo is up to £453.09 :j Am shocked as was expecting this to be a poor campaign with it being so close to xmas.

Got to chase some family members tomo so hopefully total will be over £500 :D

    Whoop well done!

Have to say I was surprised with our orders, thought we'd maybe get a couple of hundred, but got about £470 so really pleased - just hoping its all in stock now! Can't believe how many of my customers have left xmas orders till the last minute even though I've mentioned buying early to avoid disappointment from about september lol!

yes you'll need to pay the remaineder of your balance - but your credits won't show up until you have paid a bit of something off your balance. If you made a note of how much you will be credited for, just deduct that from your balance and pay that amount. If not, just pay £1 tonight, then you credits should be processed so you know how much you need to pay to clear the remainder of your balance.
