I got a call tonight from an ASM, she said to me "have you got your order? What's wrong with it?" I said "what order? I never ordered anything, what have you done now to my account?"

"the order for £51"

"what! how much! what are you doing?"

it turns out ny special needs customer has made a complaint to avon in November saying she had paid £51 but not received her order and wanted it or her money back. I explained she had had her order but had left one item at home and I had posted it to her, so as far as I was concerned, she had had her order.

The ASM said she was working her way through emails from November! :eek: makes you realise why nothing ever gets answered!

by the way, this was not even my ASM! This was the ASM for where my customer lives.

sounds like you have what I have, but at times of the day, I fall asleep as my eyes just close or I feel dizzy like you do with flu.

Hope you feel better soon. I am still struggling with mine.

i hope it goes in time for christmas, as I always seem to get ill round this time of year, but get it quite bad

Morning all

Well I have the dreaded cold/flu. I feel like carp!!:D Unfortunatly my 3 year old has it as well. We are both coughing our guts up.

Also still waiting to hear if they are going to replace or fix my boiler so still no heating apart from 2 stupid fan heaters they left me. :mad:

Got to go a pay my avon. Need to put some returns in first as a couple of people cant pay for their order till the end of this week and my C1 order goes in tomorrow.

C1 so far is at about £130 with one more road to collect and orders from my cousins work to come in. Hoping to reach about £300

You'll get lots of brilliant advice on here but got to admit that I am very surprised that whoever actually came to sign you up didn't give you such basic information. They should've left you with lots of literature including an 'Idiot Guide' as to what to order in your first couple of campaigns as well as at least 20 books for your first two campaigns - did that happen (or did they just get you to sign an application form and then disappear) :mad:?

Hiya, thanks for the welcome! i'm glad i found this thread.
She left me with 80 books for my first campaign and 40 for my second and she ran through most of it all with me, she left a few things to read but i didnt really get a list or anything for what i should be ordering for my first campaigns ...

Basically when I got signed up a few months ago I was given leaflets and a book to read through and as a new rep you can order a rep bag with about 50 different samples in for £10 which is split over 2 campaigns just like your admin fee (i missed out on this due to loosing the leaflet and not finding it til the other day!)

I was told to order brochure bags, a pack of small and medium paper bags and then order the other sizes in the next campaign, also to order a calling book if you werent given one when u signed up which are free anyway.
they tell you to order calling cards but i dont use them as I make mine own up and plus i only tend to do Family and friends, all these bits to order can be found in the Hello Tomorrow book under business tools.

also what people find handy when they are preping thier order forms is to invest in a stamp with your name and address and mobile number, saves time. you can get these from vistaprint for free and only pay for the postage on it.

Morning all! Looks like my C1 is having a last minute pick up! Was worried about getting to MOV... but just picked up a £35 order from a new customer, another new customer has an order for me to pick up this afternoon too. Not so bad after all!! My lot all like to be last minute!!!
How is everyone else finding C1? Also, has anyone actually received the elusive planet spa gift set?? I have a customer who order it in c17 and still waiting :mad:

Free gift ideas: The mandarin hair yoghurt is on offer at £1, but even better the perfect wear make-up remover is on at 99p instead of £5. So if they like it, when they come to buy again it will be good for our orders

Thanks, i've made a list of all that, so as soon as i get my account set up i'll order them
delivered all my books in my area, got 5 people who are ordering already theyve text me to check the delivery date and ive got an order from my mother-in-law and my partners took a book into work with him too so hopefully i'll get some orders from that and the other books i've dropped off will get some orders too x
