grrrr, have a new ASM and think she has put an order through (a small order) on my account as didn't place an order this campaign! This means I had 6 missed calls from Avon on Friday and a letter on Saturday telling me I had an outstanding balance on my account, that had to be paid before the order could be despatched.
I didn't put an order on as had to do my returns, and needed to check what was being returned and what I needed to pay for, so was waiting to see what was credited and what I needed to pay from the outstanding balance.
Grrrr. This has messed me up now. so have told Avon I didn't place a small order, and I KNOW I DIDN'T! I used DH's account for the orders I placed. And I what to know what has been ordered and at what time.
Wish people would not interfere like this! Apart from that it is against the rules!0 -
Gold oil stuff - mine also froze and the gold collected into a single blob.
MarsdenCuckoo- I've also noticed several posts popping up on Connects (about 1 a week) where new reps are asking about the basics - things like what the discount is, what MOV/HOV values are. It's usually not just one piece of information the upliner forgot about - it seems like a lot of important information wasn't passed on.
Short campaigns - am going to give books to customers only. Some customers don't want every book anyway so they're also not getting one this time. Collection day will be Sun 19th Nov (order due in on Tue 21st). I've given people a choice of delivery date: the actual delivery date of 30th Dec, or 5th Jan. For the second date I just picked one that seemed to be far enough from New Year's for people to have recovered, got back to work, got back into normal day-to-day life.
Returns question - I've got a body spray that I need to do an immediate replacement on (it sounds half-full, sloshing around). I understand that they'll expect me to return it. The thing is, I might have some returns to do later in the campaign if a customer doesn't pay. Would I be able to put all the returned items in one box (but with two barcode labels on)? Can I do returns at any point in a campaign (i.e. a few days before delivery is due)? I'm holding onto some items and have given the customer a deadline of Christmas Eve. If they don't pay up I was going to put in the returns and send them back with the delivery on 30th Dec. The credits probably won't have shown on my account by delivery day, but should that be a problem?
Thanks for any help you can give.I used to have my Avon turnover (sales) here. They've been removed because it's not appropriate to talk about those kinds of sales as if they're realistic for a new Rep to aim for.I signed up at the right time, right place, and was very lucky.

It's fraud - Do you know who your dsm is to put in a complaint? Make sure you mention fraud - it'll mean your ask gets the telling off she needs, potentially sacking as that's what should happen as it's illegal!Avon Lady since 2009 - I help on the Avon hints & tips thread to help other reps/new sales leaders as I was helped so much by it when I first started out :A0

You need to return items within 36 days to Avon otherwise they re-charge you. But even if you send them back after this time, they will recredit your account.
Yes, you can do 1 box of returned items with more than 1 barcode, due to the way you credited on the system.
Yes, you can do credits at any time.0 -
Smart Start Scheme - the offers change but it sounds like you're at the same stage as me. My first campaign was C14. I got samples for the first 2 campaigns, a folder and pens and Anew samples for the next 2, and for the next 2 I got a vanity bag and fragrance samples.
Even if you haven't qualified for the vanity bag and fragrance samples I think you can still get the demonstration bag if your sales over the first 6 came to over £1500.
The fragrance samples were: In Bloom, U by Ungaro for Her, Bond Girl, Lacroix Noir for Him, U by Ungaro for Him. I've given out samples with customers' Christmas cards and put the mens' ones on to people who I know have partners. Hopefully the men will try them, like them, and then their wives/girlfriends will buy them for Valentines. Got to look for a silver lining - in general I would have preferred female samples but the time of year might be just right to give out some male ones.I used to have my Avon turnover (sales) here. I used to know not sure if I still have the details. Have e-mailed Avon asking what the small order is and when it was placed as I definitely did not place it!
I did wonder why I had 6 missed calls on Friday but being so ill, it never registered that the guy kept saying the order I had placed was being held, as I was thinking it was one I had placed by mistake previously and could not give a damn about it being sent out, as it would be returned anyway as I didn't want it.
She's a new ASM who has just been taken on.0 -
Kayels, what you were asking about, and the other person, was it cutiepiebf? about having a FB page for selling or wants?

Havent had chance to get on here until now, laptop charger has decided to blow up on me and put the whole house in darkness the other night 2nd time in 3 months, so am having to use the lovely OH laptop!
Yesterday i did a christmas fayre at a school so obs ordered all this stock in and the other night had another stall which I managed to sell a few things and got £8.50! Well yesterday was a totally flop to say the least!
One little boy was looking at something to buy with his pocket money and his mum came along really snotty and said 'come along dear, we' and said quite loudly 'already have an avon lady'! I was thinking you may already have one but you can buy things here today without waiting etc!
I managed to sell a shower gel! so didnt really mke any money as had to pay £10 fee! but then realised my table number was 13!
so i am now left with all this stock, have decided to do a facebook sale! have sold 3 things to my OH sister! and the rest if it doesnt sell I can send it back which then leads me to my question!
If I was to send it back on the 22nd dec but apply for credits does that mean i dont have to pay for the stuff im sending back.. im really confused on how it all works!
and also if I get a few orders for c1 which im currently on now but dont reach MoV do they still send you the stuff out? but obviously you dont get the discount!
Aureol, sorry to hear your still feeling 'carp' hopefully your be back to your normal self soon
Good to see you back MC!0 -

easiest way is to use one barcode number, and put that number on all your returns forms - its fine to have several forms for the same box (I do that all the time), put them all in one box with one barcode number for the lot, if not the idiots at avon will probably get themselves confused - it doesn't take much at the best of times lol:rotfl:Avon Lady since 2009 - I help on the Avon hints & tips thread to help other reps/new sales leaders as I was helped so much by it when I first started out :A0 -
Me and my friends always write Carp, even by text to each other...lol think it is in case kids can read! and the other is sipped off!
It has been over a week and am still not better!
Yes, you can apply for credits and not pay for those items, just the ones you have sold to your customers or kept for yourself.
Avon will always send you your order unless you have an outstanding balance of over £20, even if you don't make nay money on it.0
