This thread is such a great help.
Thanks to all who kindly and willingly share their expertise on here.:T
Yes, that is very good advise! Dont do what i did and use your new books for your new territory! Learnt from my mistake on that one when i only got 5 books back out of 20!!DFBX2016 #160 - £3550/£8800

That is fine if your SL gives you 20 from one campaign and 20 from another, but if its like my SL she gave me 40 c15 books, so i had to order my c16 and 17 books in my first order...DFBX2016 #160 - £3550/£8800

Someone has ordered some bath roses from me, and they're in the clearance part of HT, but it says in the back of HT that you can't sell the items on. Haven't got the catalogue to hand at the minute, but if it's the same product code what's the difference? Or will it be a different product code?0

Oops... another question! Just looking at Christmas fayres etc and thinking about doing a stall but was told that you cannot buy things in Avon then sell on a stall so what do you usually do? Just put brochures, order forms and samples etc out...?0

Not 100% sure about that but I have the same question about a different item.
I guess you could order it with the HT code but keep the brochure code on the order form. Who's to know? Not sure to be honest but thats where my line of thinking was0 -

Have you mentioned that to her? I just had 20 c15 books and have bought it up with SL who said she'd sort it when we meet next so maybe get some free ones later along the line? or refunded?0 -

I think they are only obligated to give you 40 books as a start up and if they choose to give you 40 from the same campaign then they can, but it wouldve been a bit more useful to have some of each. Not a big problem anyway, just make sure you get as much use out of them as you can before the books expire - ie. cover as much territory as poss.
I think its great that you can run two books at the same time, as long as the stock is there. It has been advised before to perhaps miss out the clearance brochures when you are using the previous books, just in case stock is out avoiding disappointing customers.
How is your avonning going? Have you got some good promotion plans for Xmas? It makes me feel all xmassy when i see the xmas brochures - and its only Oct!DFBX2016 #160 - £3550/£8800

Generally I don't think you are 'supposed' to sell on the items - as they are meant to be cheaper so you can use them as testers, free gifts, etc... but who would know?
Are they in the current HT? (I seem to remember ordering them myself in c15) If its the same product code then i imagine they are in the previous HT and therefore you will be charged the up to date price which is in the current book.... but i could be wrong...DFBX2016 #160 - £3550/£8800

Well... I'm doing okay. There has been an issue with finding me some territory so I have to find my own. I've contacted SL & ASM but they have said I have to pick my own streets which has set me back as other than my own street the other ones I've gone to already have a rep which is a shame. I'm trying to do some networking to get some more customers but its not proving easy. I have hit HOV for both campaigns so far but thats just F&F (and a few treats for me- ooops not quite the idea!)
I'm upping my free samples at the moment for perfumes that I would expect to sell well, have got my reward scheme in place and will be doing a raffle for the last campaign before Christmas.
Still looking at some other ideas but getting a bit wrapped up and lost in it all
I love Christmas! Already done all my shopping0 -

too many posts to reply too! and I am supposed to go and see a customer at 4pm.
This one rings me twice a day even when I tell her I will call her on a set day at a set time, got really stroppy and asked her why she was calling me at 9pm when I have already told her when I will contact her!
anyway I digress!
Your SL  she should have provided you with free books for your first 2 campaigns! It is entirely upto her if she wants to give you extra books for 1 campaign!
Tell her you want C18 books free as she should have supplied C16 free!0
