Hmmm... 7 days left on C16. No territory so just F&F. £95 worth of orders, £15 of which is mine :/ it says I'll make £16.82 but taking in to account my order thats only £1.82 :o
Not so good... Going to take 3 books to neighbours tomorrow (did this last campaign and got nothing back), 1 book to Aunt on Friday (she did order last time but no idea if she will again) and will take a couple to play group tomorrow but I'm new and dont know anyone so doubt I'll get any. Shame really, I was hoping for better this campaign :(

This is a great opportunity for you to get to know other Mums and make new friends, as well as maybe new customers :D Go in head held high, ask the Team Leader if you can show your Avon books, and if she would mind introducing you, and then go for it!
  • Just a quick question. I am to put in my first order on Monday (C16) I haven't covered all of my new territory as yet and I'm wondering if I can still do this with the C16 brochures and put any orders in as back orders on C17. I would effectively be using two campaigns. I asked my ASM and she said that it wasn't allowed - I'm sure I read differently here or maybe I misunderstood. - but if anyone could help that would be great.

    cheers

Work colleagues will come round in time - just be casual about it...I mentioned to a few people when I started but only had 2 people ordering, one a supervisor who heard from someone else and the cleaner. Gradually more people have heard (from the cleaner) so now I have 9 people I give books too, one is a lady I work with everyday who didn't order for over a year, but after she kept saying that's a nice bag/necklace and I'd say it's from Avon she gave in and now orders £30 or more every couple of campaigns as her teenage daughter has makeup. So hang in there at work keep using products yourself and casually mention it - oo my delivery comes today, I love my new bag etc and they'll come round!

She probably thought you meant putting through 2 separate orders such is why she said no - but you can do a current order with some products on a backorder with no problem, I've done it that way for over a year and a half.

    Hi!
I've just got my books delivered (I hadn't paid on time, hence delay) . I'll prepare them this evening and deliver them tommorow. Have no much time this campagne , so I'm not holding my breath, but hey, I'll see.

I have sold 3 lots of the body control sparkly vest and body control leggings! Really quite surprised, didn't think that they would be very popular.

(My white body control vest went back as it took 10 mins of contortionism to get it on & off :o).

I have also sold a Glam Box! Just the one. Is anybody else finding they are really popular? Just wondering as I believe they were very popular last year but my lot don't seem to be going for them.

Collected the rest of my customer books bar 3 (who are round the corner so I'll be badgering them later) and think I've done @£460 again this campaign. Fingers crossed I get orders from the remaining 3!!
  • Just thought i'd say hello :)

I'm meeting my Area Sales Leader tomorrow for the first time since i applied to be a rep.

I'm a little nervous as i have a rubbish credit score so fingers crossed i'll get an account limit.

I live on a pretty new housing development with over 2000 houses ranging from 1 bed flats to 6 bed houses so i'm hoping there's a need for a rep in my area :)

We haven't had a book through the door in well over a year and i've asked friends in others parts of the estate and they've said the same.

This thread (and the other parts :)) has been a fantastic help so thank you to all that have been posting.

I have only sold one Glam Box too. TBH I didn't really like the look of them myself :o so haven't been trying to sell them too hard as a good offer to people. Nothing has been particularly popular with my customers this campaign, it has been a real all rounder but a really good one. Got a few new customers from my facebook page which bought in about £70 of new orders too :D
    Everyone loves a bargain
  • I have just got off the phone to Avon, asking for the phone number for my delivery depot and they are saying they can't give it to me!!! I thought I remember someone mentioning that they got it directly from Avon. Anyone know where else I can get this info from?

Well, my party pack is showing on my invoice. Only I was a bit dim and didn't realise until after my order that if anyone wants to return an individual item from the pack I'll have to just give them their money back but I'll be unable to return the item. If the item hasn't been opened I can always re-sell it if someone else orders it. So far I haven't had any returns from customers - it's just been me trying out things and returning them.

I've sold £34 worth of products from the pack, leaving me with a Herve Leger fragrance, 2 jewellery sets, the Christmassy porcelain things, eyeliner, lip gloss and Christmas light thing, plus £4 profit. So I can sell these extra goods if anyone orders them (although they won't contribute to my order total, won't show up on Avon's system at all). In hindsight a bit risky and I'm not sure I'll do it again. I've also done the same with the wrap your own set since people ordered a few products from it. I've got some extra freebies through creative ordering so I might do a slightly different gift set as an incentive early next year.

I've found people are starting to order Christmas things. I've sold 3 of the lipgloss gift sets, 1 each of the other make-up gift sets, and 1 of the SSS pearl sets. Plus other things from the Christmas brochure that are most likely gifts.

I've gone around most of the shops in the village putting up posters and giving a brochure to staff rooms. One hairdresser said no and one said only for the staff room. I had this plan to offer the staff 10% off if they let me put a brochure out for customers to read. The customers would then take a business card from the front desk and get a brochure delivered so they can do an order. But I think they were worried it would take away some of their haircare products sales.
I used to have my Avon turnover (sales) here. They've been removed because it's not appropriate to talk about those kinds of sales as if they're realistic for a new Rep to aim for. :( I signed up at the right time, right place, and was very lucky.
