  • In my quest for earning extra money for our wedding next year, i have been selling all of our accumulated unwanted stuff on ebay. i have also taken to buying things from charity shops (only ever under £1) that i think would sell on ebay, and sure enough am making profit on most things. Isn't it a shame that you can not use paypal to pay for your avon order? because if i could do this, then technically, everything i earn on avon would be profit? does this make sense or am i confusing myself? :s

Going to take 3 books to neighbours tomorrow (did this last campaign and got nothing back), 1 book to Aunt on Friday (she did order last time but no idea if she will again) and will take a couple to play group tomorrow but I'm new and dont know anyone so doubt I'll get any. Shame really, I was hoping for better this campaign :(

Hi Furby, I have looked in HT16 and I can't see that code anywhere. I looked at the Anew Platinum Moneymaker page and the code you have doesn't correspond. Hopefully someone else will come along that might be able to help further.

My saga with the brochure 17s goes on. They have now ordered some more for me as an order correction, but have charged me again for them. I have sent another email to customer services as they keep saying I didn't order any brochure 17s when I have the invoice printout to prove I did.

  • Been and collected my first lot of books today, and got some orders (yay!), just wondering when you log on to the Avon site, where you submit an order is it possible to put it what I've already got but save it rather than submit it?

Yes you can put on orders a bit at a time. Just enter the orders onto the website but just don't press the button that says send to Avon. Once you have input the codes and quantities, just press the save order button, that will save the items to your order.

The next time you look at the home page you will have something that says you already have a saved order and you can then click straight into your order from the home page.

 Well done on the orders as well.

    Hi

Hope you don't mind me asking - how long did it take to receive your account number etc...I had my sign up Friday evening and have not heard anything yet. Bit worried as I have a few orders and am scared I've failed the credit check!

    thanks

    Hi Sarah Lou

It usually takes about a week but it depends how on the ball your SL/ASM is. I'm sure it is nothing to do with your credit check though. From what i can gather the credit check is more for people who have used Avon before and have perhaps left with balances outstanding on their account, etc. If this does not apply to you then i wouldn't worry, i'm sure it will be fine. If you still haven't heard by the weekend then maybe give your SL or ASM (whoever signed you up) a call. :)

  • Last drop tomorrow before my order has to go in on 11th and only £20 away from HOV :jI am very pleased with my progress for my first campaign :) working for Avon also got me an interview for Boots yesterday as I now have face to face sales experience. Before only had call centre experience. I find out in a few days if I have the Christmas temp job.
