Hi, not posted on here for a while....
Can anyone help me, a customer has asked about Personal Match Foundation, I can't find this anywhere, I'm only on my 3rd campaign with Avon so a lot of the product name's don't mean anything to me yet. Do Avon still do this foundation or has it been replaced with an alternative?
HI joosh
it is this one, but it is a discontinued line.

I would recommend
https://www.avon.uk.com/PRSuite/static/ebrochure/democampaignC1510/e-brochure.html
as this adds moisture when required, has SPF15, and helps reduce shine. OK doesn't self adjust to skin tone.
For that I would recommend

Hi
Can't seem to get motivated to do Avon at the moment..... Has anybody got any ideas what to do?. Am on my 4th Campaign. I don't seem to get any big orders at the moment. My last order came to £20.00. Am not sure whether to carry on doing it or not. I will probably order something from campaign 16, as I fancy a couple of items from HT, but that will be it though.
Hi MADDIELAW
if you are finding you are not getting many orders from your territory, ask your ASM for more territory.
Are you canvassing your whole territory every time, or are you doing some, ie the ones who have ordered prevoulsy?
I know you did offer an incentive previously for them to order.
Get adverts up in Newsagents and Supermarkets, that you are a Rep, contact you for moneysaving in Xmas gifts, etc.
Make your advert on Netmums go back to the top, re-post it.
Put on your books, recommend a friend, and if they place an order, you will receive a free gift. This usually encourages people to get their friends, family, etc to have a look.
Wherever you go, promote, promote, promote Avon. Carry a book with you and ask if they see an Avon book.
I was talking to a lady in a cafe the other day because she mentioned that you can't buy makeup from Boots and return it, if you are not happy. And I mentioned Avon and she said she just had a Rep put a book through her door! Danm!
But even these chance conversations can bag you a customer!
I think you also work, but if possible, get involved with local school fairs, christmas fairs, etc. Offer to donate something from Avon to their raffle, and ask if you can have a stand. As suggested above, put books, order forms, pens, business cards on the table. Also have a £1 box, full of cheap (for you to buy) goodies, that you can make a profit on by selling at a £1, but will interest people, ie shower gels, hand creams. Also have a few other nice products to show how they can buy for Xmas and make gift baskets, etc out of.

I have just joined up to Avon Connects to have a look, but not sure if I well get any new customers from it
You will get notified of any customer interest in you, as long as you have made at least £500 in sales over the last 3 campaigns, and you have been a Rep for at least 5 campaigns.0 -
Hi all, if a customer has told me that a sheltered housing complex are interested in Avon, but don't have a rep, and it's not on my territory, would I be wrong to deliver some books to them every campaign? I don't want to step on anyone's toes!
This time, I gave the customer a book and a couple of order forms to pass on to them.0 -
I know I have to pay £2.50 for additional orders for the previous camp, but if I do this do I have to reach MOV and HOV on that order, or are the targets for the total current camp. ie if I am on C16 now and then do an additonal order for items in C15 and C14, do I need £78 for that one and £78 for the regular order. ?
Thanks for yoru help0 -
I hope you complained about this woman from your husband! That is so rude! I am not home when my delivery is made, my neighbour is good enough to take it in for me. So am I supposed to give a list to my neighbour, saying please ensure all these items are in the boxes and books before you sign for it!!!!:mad::mad:
And yes you are right, the courier is paid by boxes they deliver, imagine how much money they would lose out on waiting!
Hi Aureol,
Just had an email from Avon this morning saying they have now ordered 8 packs of 17 for me and it should be with me within 7 days. As we are still on C16 at the moment and can't give out C17 until next Wednesday, I am hoping that the books arrive in time for us to start giving them out. One thing I am confused about is that on the email they said that we were charged for C16 brochures not C17 and that they have ordered C17 for us. I am just waiting to see if they charge us again for them. If they do, it will be another email to Avon Customer services to try and sort it out. I can't understand why they keep going on about C16 being charged for and not C17 as I have a copy of the invoice and it definitely says C17. I even quoted the invoice numbers to them.
Oh well at least they are sending the books out.

Hi movingon - If you do an additional order you can order any amount you like, but you will only receive commission if you reach MOV or HOV on the additional order. It doesn't add on to your regular order. You still have to reach MOV for your regular order to receive commission.
Just a question, if you are ordering from C15, do you need the items quickly or can you wait until you put your order in for C16 as you can back order the items for C15 then. Doesn't help with any items from C14 that you need to order but the items might be cheaper in C15 or C16 anyway, in which case if you place them in your regular order, then you won't have to pay the £2.50 charge.DD1 born May 2002, DD2 born Dec 2005, DS born Dec 2008. Just Curious....
If a customer orders items from the Sale brochure, do I still get the 20% or 25% commission?Current Debt (8th March) = [STRIKE]£940 £910 725 104[/STRIKE] + £290

Re getting orders from work, I have also found this difficult. I give 4 books out at work, but only really get any orders from one colleague. Nothing from the rest.
Feel like a bit of a pain in the bum chasing people for orders - especially as the time when I do it is when people should probably be concentrating on work, not on Avon ...
Guess I'm just lucky to have good territory, as I think my F&F orders would be minimal without it.
Got another customer last night from one of my existing customers. Was standing on her doorstep chatting for a couple of minutes, and she mentioned that her friend was coming round to help her with her CV. Lo an behold, the friend turned up and I clocked that she must have walked as she didn't come in a car. My customer mentioned that I was the Avon lady, and her friend said she was interested, and yes true enough she lives just round the corner from my original territory! Book going in next week ...
Picked up the rest of my customer books last night (just a couple of stragglers from round the corner left), but not unpacked them yet. Orders for C16 at £296 so far thoso fingers crossed. People not going mad for the Christmas stuff though - is it too early?? And I have sold zero glam boxes!!!!

Yes you do. The only things you might not get full commisison on are fixed discount items (eg Morgan bags, other branded products).
Although .... a strange one this! I have had someone order the Playboy boxer shorts. And while these are fixed discount, the discount I seem to be getting is more than 25% !! :rotfl:0
