I just looked on Connects for the first time. I've been added to groups already - straight away I don't like it as I don't know why I wasn't asked lol petty i know but its a bit strange. Apparently I've even got a group in my name already! hmmmm
No, it's not petty.
That annoyed me too. What happens is when you first make an account on Avon Connects, it uses your account details to find your Area Group, your SL and/or ASM, links you to them automatically, don't think you can even remove yourself!
And then creates a group for you, so that if any potential customers want to link to you, you can see them in your group.
Ouch, head hurting already from Avon Connects and not logged in anymore!0 -
my c15 order has now dissapeared completelty. this is the last straw avon!Converted comper to MSE. Thank you for all your answers!0

Arg so annoyed!!! Put an alternative delivery address when i placed my order thought I'd better ring to check and no still getting delivered to my house! They cannot guarantee it will actually get delivered to the alternate address and if it does it will be 48 hours late!!! I said so what would happen if it gets delivered to mine and no one is in? It will get returned and credited?!?!?! Very helpful! So the next answer was to leave it in the shed for days when no one is home!!!!
I'm dreading coming home to find where it has gone!! I'm messing my grandma about too now saying well it might be delivered but it might not!0 -
Oh dear - and I'm fed up with Avon too! Well, more the customers really. Hope you got your order sorted, Furby.
Carlys - can't understand why they have a problem unless its in a completely different part of the country. I've had mine delivered to my dad (7 miles away) with no problems on the right day with only a couple of hours later. Surely they wont deliver to your home if you have a different delivery address, do let us know how you get on.Please do not quote spam as this enables it to 'live on' once the spam post is removed.

I know!!! It's literally 2 minutes up the road where I want it going to! It was due on Monday and I'm away until Wednesday so it wouldn't really affect too much if it was 48 hours late just inconvenient for my grandma!!!0

I am interested in becoming an Avon Rep and was wondering if you were allowed to run a stall at Christmas fairs etc?
Many thanks0 -
Well I put my first lot of books out on Saturday and collected them this morning, combined with F&F orders so far i have total orders of £310!!! :j.
I cant believe it!! Ive still got about 3/4 drops of books to go yet and brochures with other F&F.
I did get my old territory back and the few customers I've seen are really pleased to have me back.
Best get back out there and put some more books out. Cant wait for all those boxes delivery day xxxLook atfer the Pennies and the ££££'s will care for themselves :money:0 -

Hi Rhiannon,
This is my 3rd or 4th time of being a rep (I kept coming back cos I loved it so much!!) and I have held stalls at christmas fayre etc.
I just put out loads of my 'gift stock' and demo products, samples, brochures, order forms and pens.
Usually do quite well out of them and often gain new customers.Look atfer the Pennies and the ££££'s will care for themselves :money:0 -
I'm annoyed with Avon at the moment. My husband finally got his delivery on Friday, only five days late. Then when he checked it after he got back from work, he found that they hadn't sent any brochure 17s. He had ordered 8 packs. So he phoned over the weekend and they said someone would get back to him within two days. Well they have just rung him now and said none were ordered and none were invoiced. Because it is me who runs the account for him and sorts all the paperwork, he didn't know what to say. Now I have a copy of the invoice in front of me and it definitely says 8 packs of 17 and they have been invoiced. I think they are getting confused as on Friday he received both a normal order and an additional order, so I have a feeling they are just looking at the additional order which correctly didn't have any brochure 17s on.
Hubby is now at work and is really busy so can't really ring them back until later, but by then, it will be too late to sort out more books and it means that we will probably have been waiting 2 weeks for these books to arrive.

Hope you are feeling a bit better today. First campaign was slightly terrifying for me but I have just submitted my fifth campaign and have to say that I really enjoy doing Avon (might not be saying that this time next year :rotfl:), I find that with new customers as long as you say when they answer the door sorry to disturb you and have a huge smile on your face then people are always OK with you. It seems that some people take a bit of time to get used to having a brochure through their door before they will order from you, I was in one of my roads the other day and a woman came up to me and said are you the Avon person and could she have a book and also her neighbour (I now have three fresh customers for next campaign, third one is thanks to ASM). When you are having a bad day you can always come on here and have a moan or pick up your HT mag and have a look through that (especially with all the lovely xmas bits).0
