Hi
Hope you don't mind me asking - how long did it take to receive your account number etc...I had my sign up Friday evening and have not heard anything yet. Bit worried as I have a few orders and am scared I've failed the credit check!
thanks
Sarah
Signed up last Wednesday and got my account no & credit limit info the following Monday. Sure you'll be fine, I was worried about credit check too, my credit ratings the worst, but they accepted me so I wouldn't worry too much0 -
Yes you can put on orders a bit at a time. Just enter the orders onto the website but just don't press the button that says send to Avon. Once you have input the codes and quantities, just press the save order button, that will save the items to your order.
The next time you look at the home page you will have something that says you already have a saved order and you can then click straight into your order from the home page.
 Well done on the orders as well.
Thanks, I've got orders from C15 & C16, does that mean I do it as two separate orders? As in when it asks me which campaign I'm ordering from?0 -

When you first go in to do an order, it will ask you which campaign you are doing, so you will put 16. Then it will ask whether it is a regular or additional, and yours will be a regular order.
Then when you come to put individual items in on the left hand side before the code is a little drop down box where you can use the campaign number. The default is C16, but you can change this to C15 for all products you have from the C15 brochure. Therefore you have just one order and all products from both C16 and C15 count towards your Order value and hopefully you will reach MOV.DD1 born May 2002, DD2 born Dec 2005, DS born Dec 2008. Do any of you know whether there is any way we can do Gift Vouchers? I know quite a few gents who may like to use this route at Xmas for Aunties etc. In my mind it would only work if the recipient redeemed the voucher with me, however is there another way?
Our town hall had a 'come and meet all the local groups available' day today - so (deep breath!) bit the bullet, got together with a friend who does Phoenix trading and put together 'Potential Fundraising For Clubs and Groups Packs'. We have basically said that we would supply brochures and order forms to their group and any orders rec'd through them would result in a 10% commission. Had a really good response from the local Guiding organisation who may want me to come and do a talk to the girls - and demonstrate myself as a good role model!!! Hoping that these packs lead to some good new business outlets as already doing well with territory and feel really positive just now. Have also been allocated some new territory by ASM just waiting on the details. My head is buzzing with ideas at the moment - going to host a party with all the mums I haven't seen for ages in Nov - just in time for Xmas. For C17 I have ordered (from HT) one of the make your own gift baskets and have stapled flyer to front of book saying 'Win £24.75 worth of Gorgeous Avon Goodies - Just spend £20 or more in Brochure 17 for your free entry into this prize draw'. Have got them all ready to go and just annoyed that I go on holiday in 2 day for a week so will have to wait until I get back to deliver them!!!
Don't mean to sound like a bragger - but it feels like htere has been a run of bad experiences on here the last few days and I just wanted to share my good one - hope that is ok with everyone?:)0 -
Oh dear. Just been to pick up 20 books I dropped on my street - not one order :-(
Got most of the books back and a few people did ask if I would drop off next time. Really disheartened now.................. got some more to pick up sat and next week. Only got £39 in orders and only 9 days left..............argh. Canvassed the street, given to F&F, taken one into work, left one in the school staff room.........................bit stuck now!Avon Representative October 2010: C16: £276 :T C17: £297 :j0 -

Try not to worry to much, from what I've seen on here people are more likely to order when they see that you keep coming back.
You've got more to pick up yet so don't give up just yet x0 -
Hi all,
I signed up yesterday as an Avon rep, yey! The lady who signed me up kindly gave me 55 brochures (a mix of camp 15&16) which I delievered yesterday. I have a round of 160 houses which leaves not much time to drop them and collect them all before the order date but hopefully the next one will be easier since I'll have more time.
I look forward to reading through the thread and picking up some handy hints and tips. Please can someone tell me what F&F is?
Thank-you

Thanks Newbeginning.
Do you know what I do with my C16 brochures once they are finished with on order day? I've heard about having customers on different campaigns but I'm not sure how that works?Avon Representative October 2010: C16: £276 :T C17: £297 :j0 -
after the fiasco of trying to get my order through on monday and finally getting it through at 8:30am after keying in everything again all 83 items before feeding my 4 month old and taking my son to schooli have now recieved this email from avon. my order should normally come on a friday.
Thank you for your recent email.
Please accept our apologies for the inconvenience this may cause you and your customers.
not happy....not happy at all. now i have to go round all my customers, say it will be late and not to mention the stuff missing!. and then go round again! to deliver. this canont go on. i really like the extra cash but the hasstle im having. all monday was taken up by trying to put my order through and tuesday morning when i should have been concentrating on the kids not avon then till mid day trying to email them to make sure it would come on time.
ive left them a right stinky messege now.
i'm not happy about this in the slightest and niether will my customers be. i tried everything to get it to go through on time i called the hotline 3 times and got up at 6am even though i had to get 2 children ready to go and do the school run. 1 only 4 months old and wakes up through the night . this is the last straw, there has been enough problems of one reason or another. unless this gets to me by friday this will be my last order.Converted comper to MSE. Thank you for all your answers!0
