Do you know what I do with my C16 brochures once they are finished with on order day? I've heard about having customers on different campaigns but I'm not sure how that works?

When you place your avon order, you can order from the current brochure and the previous one (although there may be supply issues with the clearance booklets). Therefore, on C17 you can give your new brochures to your current customers and use C16 brochures for canvassing. I have all my best customers on the current brochure and the ones who dont order regularly or aren't too good at leaving them out on the previous one. You can also creatively order - example somebody orders face cream which is £10 in C17. C16 it's £7 so you order it from C16 and make a little extra. Or, use several customers orders to take advantage of offers such as BOGOF or any 4 for £5 etc.

Takes a bit of getting used to but always check customer orders against both brochures and order from the cheapest. Same product, customer happy and a little extra for you ;)

Hi all, if a customer has told me that a sheltered housing complex are interested in Avon, but don't have a rep, and it's not on my territory, would I be wrong to deliver some books to them every campaign? I don't want to step on anyone's toes!

This time, I gave the customer a book and a couple of order forms to pass on to them.

You are not stepping on anyone's toes. If there is no Rep that gives them a book to look at and they have asked you for a book, they are your customer :)

Go ahead and deliver books to them every campaign :D

I know I have to pay £2.50 for additional orders for the previous camp, but if I do this do I have to reach MOV and HOV on that order, or are the targets for the total current camp. ie if I am on C16 now and then do an additonal order for items in C15 and C14, do I need £78 for that one and £78 for the regular order. ?
    Thanks for yoru help

If you place an additional order, you will not receive any discount if your order is for less than £78. So you would need your additional order to be at least £78 for you to earn a discount. Plus you still have to pay the £2.50 for p&p.

And yes you would still need to earn £78 on your regular order. So 2 lots of £78 to earn 2 lots of discount.
  • Creative Ordering?

I have a customer that has ordered 2 x Skin so Soft from book 16 (BOGOF) total £5. However in Book 15 they're on 3 for £4, so I can order three, get an extra £1 and an extra product?

Have I got this right - please say yes ...

    Hi Aureol,

One thing I am confused about is that on the email they said that we were charged for C16 brochures not C17 and that they have ordered C17 for us. as I have a copy of the invoice and it definitely says C17. I even quoted the invoice numbers to them.

Oh well at least they are sending the books out.

can you scan your invoices and e-mail them to Avon to prove that you ordered C17, not C16? I used to have a fax number for them but not sure where it is now.

Can you ask your ASM to speak to them on your behalf? sometimes it takes talking to someone at a higher level, to get a bit of sense and sort things out!

In my quest for earning extra money for our wedding next year, i have been selling all of our accumulated unwanted stuff on ebay. i have also taken to buying things from charity shops (only ever under £1) that i think would sell on ebay, and sure enough am making profit on most things. Isn't it a shame that you can not use paypal to pay for your avon order? because if i could do this, then technically, everything i earn on avon would be profit? does this make sense or am i confusing myself? :s

no, unfortunately, it wouldn't be a profit. As you paying for things, selling them at a profit, but you have to deduct ebay and paypal fees, and then what you are left with after p&p may not be that great. And you collect the money from your customers, they are paying for the order, and it is them you are earning the profit from, not how you pay for your order.
